I love Kid and I wish he would appear in this arc, but I think we’ll only find out about his whereabouts when Loki reveals to Luffy where Shanks went. Then maybe Loki will mention something to Luffy about the fight that happened before the arc, and we’ll see Kid somewhere, just like Teach and Law.
In other words, only in Elbaf’s epilogue.
