The narrative is pointing to Blackbeard getting a new fruit, he already has a Logia and Paramecia so his next one would logically be Zoan. Unless Oda has pulled a Nika and one of his fruits is the Mythical Zoan. There is some credence to this notion, the Yami-Yami no mi is odd and doesn't act like a true logia and it also looks like Luffy's "paramecia" fruit as well. Blackbeard also said the fruit chose him which fits with it being a mythical zoan.
If the darkness fruit is a Zoan then that means Blackbeard's third fruit will likely be a Logia. The obvious and most likely option for this would be Aokiji's fruit. With the Hie-Hie no mi combined with the Quake fruit, Blackbeard would be 2-shot monster. He can freeze and shatter an opponent before they break free, an extremely nasty combination. Cold weakens rubber's ability to stretch which would be extremely useful against Luffy. The cold fruit is also capable of subverting devil fruit's greatest weakness which would help his DF fruit-reliant crew.
If the Gura-Gura no mi is a mythical Zoan then his next fruit would be Paramecia. This is also a solid possibility but it's not my theory.
This is more interesting as there are more options and a less clear narrative. The Poison fruit would fit extremely well as this is one of the only fruits that can subvert Haki and instantly puts anyone not named Luffy at a massive disadvantage. Moria's shadow fruit is another solid option, this would give Blackbeard an undead army and a means to buff himself up.
There is also the third option that all of his fruits are exactly what the story say they are and he will get a Mythical Zoan. Oda might also just go crazy and have all 3 of his fruits be Mythical Zoans. Too many damn options to list them all but here are some deities and monsters that caught my eye.
