Idk its speculation
Might be a part of what it takes to make a black blade it might not
Kozaboro already explained them
Swords are created for One Purpose Only ---> "To Kill/Cut as many/much as possible"
Weak Swordsmen will fail to tame Named Swords & start to call them "Cursed"
But Strong Swordsmen once they tame a Named Sword, they will make it submit to their Will

So all Swords Dreams is to basically be a better Killing Tool, nothing else
The better the Sword, the Wilder & Bloodthirsty it is
Sandai, Shusui & Enma for example were all shown to be like that

Once the Swords are Tamed, their Purpose/Will becomes same as The Wielder
So Roger's Dream = Ace Dream, Oden's Dream = Enma's Dream but later it became Zoro's Dream (And he said "I'm gonna be King of Hell")
... etc

Not all swords ars cursed and not all cursed swords are on the same level
So you believe those without a black blade just aren't strong enough to tame their blade cursed or not?

If a swords only dream is to be a better killing tool that wouldn't align with the dream of all their weilders
Roger, kyros, oden, issho, law, ect have bigger dreams than just that

No such thing as a cursed blade

Some swords are referred to as cursed while others aren't. Cursed blades are just exceptional blades. I guess you can call them special blades instead but...

I did and i assumed thats what you were relying to i apologize

You said a blades single only dream is to become a better killing tool but also said they have the same dream/purpose as its wielder
Not every weilder is focused on making their blade a better killing tool. For example that wasn't whitebeard goal his was too create a family which he did. So in that case his blade should have the same purpose

Cursed Swords don't exist at all, go re-read Kozaboro Chapter

And no i didn't say "Also they have"
I said Swords Purpose is to become a better Killing Tool (This refers to when they are forged)
But once someone takes the Sword & tames it, the Sword's Will "Becomes" same as the Wielder
This is also explained in Mr. 1 Fight, Power to Cut Anything = Power to Cut Nothing, that's because the Sword obeys the Will of Wielder only

And i told you Ace Dream = Roger's Dream, Murakomogiri's Dream = WB's Dream ... etc

Oda specifically uses the terminology to describe some swords but not others. Them actually being cursed or not isn't the point. Point is some swords are considered "cursed" but not others

Ok in that case what do you believe the dreams/goals of the characters and weapons above are?
And do you think those goals play any role in making them black

Black Blade is something Fated & related to Moon & most probably Dragons

Just like Shirahoshi was born with Poseidon Powers
Just like Vegapunk is ahead of Humanity Intellectually
Just like Big Mom was born with Special Body
... etc

Certain things are Fated to happen to certain Individuals
If people stop seeing everything from Power Levels Perspective (Yes having Supreme Black Blade & having Body like Big Mom's is indeed part of Character's Power Level Portrayal), but Oda didn't add them just for that, they are Story-Related

If Black Blades are simply Blades of Superior Quality, then what's the whole point of Meito Ranking System?
Just switch your Sword with one of Greater Grade & that's it, why bother turn your Sword Permanently Black?

It's because there is an Important Lore behind Forging Black Blades, and same for why Big Mom was born with Special Body & why Shirahoshi have Poseidon Powers & why Joy Boy gonna return & why there are Prophecies ... etc

These are "Fated" Powers, not "Mastery" Powers
Even if people train their entire Life, they cannot achieve Barrier CoA similar to Big Mom which is Permanently Activated
I don't wanna talk more, cuz i will explain everything in my Upcoming Full OP Analysis, but the idea is that the Story is much bigger than people think

Devil Fruits, Ancient Weapons, Meito Swords, Haki ... etc are all part of the same Concept, the same Lore, the same Flashback

I don't think it's exactly like that. Swords have a certain free will, we saw it there at the beginning with Sandai and recently with Enma.

There is a belief in Japan that beloved objects come to life, which we saw in Merry.

I think it's a reasonable assumption to think that, swords that were well cared for in their creation, became famous high grade swords and gained that "life" which is the will to cut and is known as a cursed sword.

Due to this personality, I believe that swords value their wielders, that through haki they are dominated - as Luffy dominated animals - and that when they accept the wielder, they become black swords.

If its simply just haki what do you think is stopping characters like roger from having one? Like what would they need to do to have their weapons exept them
Or even just zoro unless all his become black at the same time (which isn't impossible) wouldn't that mean haki isn't enough if only enma turns
