Speculations Bounty Battle: Benn Beckmann's Bounty Vs Blackbeard and Current Luffy

I was thinking the other day about how I had made a claim in the past that I wouldn't be surprised if Benn's bounty were somewhere in the 3 billion range.

But then I thought, would it make sense for Becky to have a bounty that high when one of the current Emperors only has a bounty of 2.2 bil?

And if you think that the World Government only gave Luffy a bounty of 1.5 billion even knowing that Morgans published his fake news article about Luffy actually being an Emperor, could Benn's bounty even be below 1.5 billion? The Marines said that the Red Hairred Pirates had a high average bounty, but that doesn't necessarily mean that Shanks' top commanders have ultra high bounties right? It could just mean that all of Shanks' men all have bounties in the low 1 bill/high hundred mil range whereas other crews seem to have bounties that go from the low 1 bils to low hundred mils.

It would be quite interesting if Benn had a bounty below Luffy's, because that would also imply that when Luffy defeated Katakuri, the World Government from that point onward considered him to be stronger than every Yonko First Mate/Top Commander (assuming King's bounty is also below 1.5 bil).

I personally think Oda would be stupid if he made Benn (and Shanks) as strong as a lot of fanboys want them to be, but what do you guys think? Is Benn's bounty above Blackbeards? Or even Luffy's? Share your thoughts :)

I think inbetween in most likely. I see no way for a Vice Captain to have a bounty above a Yonko, so that means below Blackbeard. But since Queen is 1.32 and Marco is 1.37 and King has a good chance to be in the 1.4s, I think Beckman should be around 1.8ish to cement him as a cut above any other YC. If he was below Luffy that would put him too close to the others.

Yeah, I think it's very likely Ben Beckman's bounty is in the 1.4 billion bounty range with a slim chance of him being slightly above Luffy's 1.5 Billion. Oda's given Ben some special treatment in Databooks and clearly holds him in high esteem, but it seems like Oda is holding the 1.5 Billion mark as something truly unique.

It could be that Beckman is that strong / a possible 5th Yonko Contender if he wasn't under Shanks, wouldn't surprise me in the least. But I think the safest answer is that the Red Hair Pirates have high bounties for their core officers and probably upper hundred millions for the rest of their men.

I would hardcore respect Oda if he gave all the YC1 bounties within a hundred mil of each other.

With Katakuri being the Urouge of the group of course (low bounty but the strongest)

Also there’s a good chance Sanji may actually get a higher bounty than Queen this arc. If Sanji rolls out of here at 1.32+ And Zoro rolls out at something notably higher than that.. wouldn’t it be weird if THE Ben Beckman was behind Zoro and close to Sanji?

It’s uncommon for characters not to have their bounty raised above whoever they just beat, and Shanks commanders probably shouldn’t have a lower bounty average than Luffy’s top guys EoW.

What is “THE” Ben Beckman? Outside of constantly disproven data book fanservice, nothing in the OP plot has distinguished Benn from other first mates.

Many people thought Luffy’s bounty would be lower than “THE” Marco but look how that turned out.

Marco has always been a 1st commander. Vice Captains have been portrayed differently. Rayleigh, Zoro, Killer, etc are all relative to their captains. Marco was never portrayed that way.

That causes the op fanbase to be full of donkeys

And a reminder to the Beckman supporters is that the crew of the loser of the bygone Era, was the strongest pirate crew in the world, so if Benn gets a bigger reward than Marco it won't be for power but for crimes against the government.
Otherwise it wouldn't make sense for a databook to be interpreted as Beckman=shanks because that would mean that the WB crew = 2 or 3 emperors, something that would give more hype to the navy & i don't think the lolkoboys want that

If you see the Vice Captains as = to the 1st Commanders we just have very different perceptions on the story. The VCs have always been portrayed as partners. Katakuri, King, and Marco have not. WB called Oden brother because Oden was a partner. Marco was a son.

Thing is….Beckmanns only semi quantifiable thing going for him is DB, VC etc shit that’s not in tha actual source material. As far as tha actual source material goes….he’s got tha same title as Rayleigh and Zoro. 2 guys who both have bounties above Current Luffy(Rayleigh most likely does) and below Current Zoro, so his title as Vice Captain doesn’t demand a certain bounty level on its own

But what about Oda’s words?

And that’s aside from Oden’s showcase against Kaido, being called brother, and Kaido’s respect for him (places him among Shanks, WB, Roger, Xebec).
