On my recent post i said that bugg wasnt strong enough that he got a lot of followers to do his work for him that thats the reason how he was able to become a emperor but i take it all back what if buggy awaken his df?

not only he was able to also unlock his haki, he was also able to unlock kings haki!? There’s one fact that got me thinking that this use to hangout with bigshot pirates he use to hangaout with shanks and the roger pirates, he used to have guts like shanks when they were kids..

and when the time the marines decided to arrest him he showed this power to the Marines?


what do you guys think? Did this past 2 years buggy was able to unlock haki? Or all of this emperor thing was the work of the gorosei again?

Buggy actually getting stronger would kinda go against the whole "failing upwards" thing he seems to be doing since the beginning of OP. That being said Buggy actually being secretly strong would be hilarious so I kinda want it to be a thing :gokulaugh:

What if he used to have a depression about his power? You know like brooke during his past 2 years time skip.. then he somehow gain a new power that he showing to us right now..

Same thing goes for buggy, he was depressed about how his followers think he was strong then one day he awakens his devil fruit and then he train and train so hard haha

I mean, Oda does make buggy stronger. But only so much as he is still massively weaker than the main cast, and hence the gag remains intact.
Like between east blue and marineford, buggy developed the muggy ball, which I would say makes him considerably stronger. Maybe even above the east blue villains.

Obviously, Buggy's crew will still be far stronger than him. But awakening is a decent possibility. Buggy has had his DF since childhood.
Given how important haki is, buggy could theoretically have awakening and still be near fodder due to being haki-less. Hence the gag would still remain intact.

imo, Buggy should be stronger than Orochi, who is similarly a fodder gag character. If Oda is willing to give orochi a mythical zoan, why can't buggy have awakening?

It is possible,but i think Buggy just pulled something really clever.
