Character Discussion Buggy has one of the God fruits and Shanks planned it!

Shanks plotted to made both Luffy eat the gum fruit and Buggy to eat the chop fruit!
He scared Buggy into eating his fruit, by accident.
Then again by accident he casually brought the fruit near Luffy.
Clearly he knew in advance what would happen.

Shanks has some level of foreknowledge just like BlackBeard has. That's how he arrived at Marineford on time, like Blackbeard did. There's some hidden knowledge they both don't share with the rest.

Therefore it's clear when Buggy has his awakening he'll be one of Ichika, Yonka or Sanka!!

The question is what is Shanks scheming? Could it be you need specific God fruits awakened to unlock the One Piece?

I think so too. Eventually he will have the last laugh and be stronger than Goku. He won't die from all the beatings from Croc and Mihawk, but like a saiyajin will come back stronger every time.

No for real, once he awakens the DF he has it will become clear what Shanks has planned all along.

Shanks only said it's time to claim the One Piece after Luffy's awakening. Buggy will also play a role down the road in Shank's plan, not clear exactly what yet though.
