If anyone is going to use this in the future, it will be Buggy.
It just fits his characterization as a fraud. Plus you know that when he does it, all his followers will believe he is the one using the haki.
I think it’s possible Mihawk will give him a haki knot, if only to prevent Buggy from dying in a serious battle.
Alternatively, I think it would be really great if Roger gave Buggy some of his haki. Buggy was always a weakling, so I’d imagine Roger would do something like this to protect Buggy in case he ever needed it.
I think Buggy using Roger’s haki would be a great way for Oda to hype Roger and give him more feats, despite him being dead.
Similar to Emeth, if Buggy does have Roger’s haki then he must be waiting for the right moment to use it. A time when either he or someone he loves is in danger. I could see him using it to save Shanks from Blackbeard or something like that.
After that tho, I can see Buggy just leaching off mihawk and using his haki knots to convince people he’s strong.
