Can luffy break his bones?

Luffy is a rubber man as we know, and we know haki users can hurt luffy but to what point? He seemed to never get any of his bones broken even if he takes damage by haki users. Is it because rubber is still ruber, even if you can hurt the person? Would luffy also have his bones shattered tanking hakai? Or would his internal organs only rupture? There should be a point where luffy gets at least some of his bones broken right? But how would you be able to break a rubber bone? What do you guys think?

If you applied enough force then yeah, you can damage his bones. Sanji already cracked Luffy's skull in WCI.
Wait he did? Did you get any panels? It seems like I missed that.

Does him being rubber add anything to his durability though? It should be harder to break something so flexible right?

I doubt that. Haki can hurt him but it cannot break his bones it is not like he is not rubbery anymore. his bones will be damaged the way rubber get damaged so maybe scratches and bruises

So the only way to ''break'' his bone is to cut simply through it right? That would make zoro and other top tier swordman autmatically his counter though.

yes that is what i mean. Even Oda didn't go and wrote crack for that case as Sanji attacked Luffy's head.
you can cut through Luffy but it not simple either since he can cover himself in haki when it comes to cutting he is like every one else he can be cut if his haki got bypassed but that is not an easy task.
Cracker manged to cut through Luffy's haki but all he did was just a little cut.

Kaido definitely cracked his head open in Act 1
no he didn't he hurt him but just like Sanji vs Luffy. Oda didn't draw any crack sound.

I think haki can bypass devil fruit defence so why not yeah.

This is why the fist of love supposedly worked I guess. It's like Garp hit his "real" body rather than just rubber.

Simple haki bypass rubber's ability to stretch, so a strong enough CoA or CoC will break his bones. But seeing Luffy tank Boro Breath and Ragnarok (AdvCoC attack) direct contact without damage, it means his CoA has become way too strong compared to others, to the point that it was sufficient to not have his bones broken against Kaidou CoA-CoC attacks.

So when even Ragnarok cant break his bones, i dont think Hakai can. Even tho his bones can break, i don't think Kaidou can do it except with his absolute strongest attack. Imo it'll be fun if Luffy breaks his bones because he forces himself to surpass and crush Kaidou's ulti, to the point that he can't fight in the next arc.
