Questions & Mysteries Can someone give a factual reason for this?

Can someone explain how the citizens are 2/2 on the world strongest title. How can the people of one piece know that white beard is the actual strongest if he never actually defeated anyone?

why do they say he is the wsm, what did wb do for the people of one piece to coincidentally be correct about the wsm title.

I can understand mihawk, he is the only one with a black blade. but wb hasn't done anything he is just a yonko just like kaido and bigmom, he didn't even have a black blade

WB had the second-highest known bounty and the highest active known bounty after Roger's death. He once fought Roger to a draw, and rumors of that should have spread. His Quake DF had a reputation for being capable of destroying the world. He was a Yonko, and as a bonus, he wielded a Supreme Grade blade.

With all this in mind, what else are they going to think?

Mihawk isn't much bigger than the nurses are. I'm pretty sure Whitebeard was literally the biggest and most physically strong human.
he wasn't physically stronger than bigmom or kaido who are yonkos

with this logic it seems roger would have been a better fit

pk > yonko
defeated > wb crew (rocks)
supreme blade
etc

Shirohige was the strongest in his prime, but during MF and a few years before, he was no longer strong. There were Mihawk and Shanks and also Shiro was already old and sick.

Why did he still retain the title? Well, because no one challenged him in a 1v1

Can the same be said about Mihawk's title? No, since Mihawk is in his Prime and is tied to being Zoro's final enemy, simply for that reason.

I don't think that's really true. If Big Mom was the strongest human, she certainly wouldn't be called the strongest man.
she would have been called world strongest human, but if it was a male there won't be any need to differentiate, since it is assumed that male are stronger than females on average

how did he get it in the first place?
if he did not defeat anyone to get it, he doesn't need to be defeated to lose it

what incidents does he have that places him above bigmom and kaido. it seems like everything that he did bigmom and kaido also did.

he didn't even have a black blade
Just be Patient,
We learned of God Valley Incident that made Garp known as a Legendary Hero,
We learned that finding Laugh Tale made Roger Pirate King,
We learned that Levely Incident made Sabo known as Flame Emperor,
... etc

Oda will soon tell us what Dragon did to become known as Worst Criminal,
And what WB did that made People believe He could Destroy The World (Strongest Man),
And what Mihawk did that made People believe his Swordsmanship is Superior than Shanks & worthy of being called WSS,
... etc

We don't know, just like we don't know how Mihawk, or Kaido, got it. This is the same argument that Mihawk haters use. Simply or even Oda has not revealed it, maybe he will do it in Mihawk's story, or maybe he will never show it to us. It is not interesting or does not matter for anyone's dream or goal who the WSM, WSS, WSC was before.

Roger achievements were the greatest in the world, a man matching him, with a "world-threatening" Fruit, it's not far-fetched to call him the strongest.
nah it should be the other way around. imagine having the strongest df and still not being able to defeat a devil fruitless dude.

it is like praising the dude that always came second againt usain bolt

Well....

I don't think this guy will accept any answer less than Whitebeard doing a 1v1 with everyone in the world human or not.

My answer is simple. Whitebeard was the strongest man in the world because he was the largest and strongest male human. It doesn't say strongest human.

all i am asking is what did he do to get the title if we know he was
1. a lackey to the dude that lost to roger
2. hasn't defeated anyone of note.

xebec had more going for him yet no WSM
1. strongest pirate crew
2. easily defeated an admiral
