I think this recent chapter has potentially added and gave us some clue about pre-Void Century history of the One Piece world, and adding to what I've stated before that Nika is not something Oda came up with post-TS, but was part of the mythology he envisioned for his world even back in pre-TS, with post-TS just being where he fleshes out the details. But on to the topic of the thread.

This recent chapter mentioned how the World had been destroyed twice before. We know one of the potential time it's referring to is the Void Century, which had the apocalyptic battle of the Ancient Kingdom vs the 20 Kingdoms. That leaves 1 other time something similar happened.

When the world was first destroyed

The Age of Heaven and Age of Sea Circle:

In chapter 203, Nico Robin mentions the "Age of Heaven".

Then, 25 chapters later, in chapter 228, Nami reads the logs of the adventurer Mont Blanc Noland from 400 years ago. The starting of the log she reads is "The age of Kaien 1120, June 21" . Age of Kaien also translated as Age of Sea Circle. Then again mentioned by Nico Robin in chapter 261.

Chronology and placement of the ages + 1st Destruction of the World:

So we essentially have two ages in the world of One Piece right now, the Age of Heaven and the Age of the Sea Circle. But in addition to this information, we also know the Palace of Alabasta has been there for 4000 years. Not only that, but the Tree of Knowledge that was planted in Ohara was planted over 5000 years ago. 4000 years ago is our equivalent of the Ancient Egyptian Dynasties, which Alabasta is heavily inspired off of. But also of Ancient Indian empires, which also contribute to the inspiration behind Alabasta.

So we know the history of the OP world goes as far back as 5000 years. However, the Age of Sea Circle only goes back 1522 years based on Noland's diary. This would make Age of Heaven, being the one that existed before the Age of Sea Circle (AoK). But we don't know when exactly the Age of Heaven starts. However, these two I think function essentially as BC/AD. Age of Sea Circle being the AD, and Age of Heaven (AoH) being the BC. So going with that, if we calculate the history of Alabasta that Robin mentions:

1750+ years ago: Kahira is conquered by Alabasta, this would be the foundation of the Alabastian dynasty. (AoH 239)
1770+ years ago: Tymar of the Bitein Dynasty took the throne (AoH 260)
1800+ years ago: The Great Taph Temple in Erumalu is built (AoH 306)
1820+ years ago: The Great Hero of Oltea, Mamudin, did something (AoH 325)
4000+ years ago: Palace of Alubarna was founded (AoH 2400+)

Now our AD/BC usage stems from the Christian belief system of Before Christ (BC) and Year of the lord/ Anno Domini (AD). Basically a great religious figure, and in Christian ideology, the most important event in history happened, that triggers upon a whole new era of the world from which the calendar starts anew.

I think very similarly, the first "destruction of the world" happened 1520+ years ago, after which is when the Age of Sea Circle starts. This would mark the first time "Nika" appeared as the person who greatly changed the world. And it's greatly possible that during the Age of Heaven the likes of Lunarians and such thrived on the planet, and after the 1st big war that occurred, the sea levels rose, which paved ways for Joyboy to end up being the "1st pirate".

1522 years ago (AoSC 0) - First Destruction
800 years ago (AoSC 722) - Second Destruction

Now based on this statement from VP, the Ancient Weapons likely predate the Ancient Kingdom as well, and Joyboy used to preserve them. (Though this is all dependent on how you interpret that statement.) Because VP says in the past there were three ancient weapons, rather than in the past there were three great weapons or something of that sort. Implication to me being that even in the past they were considered ancient.

Meaning the Ancient Weapons were first used 1522 years ago during the 1st destruction of the world.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

ALTERNATIVELY:

It's also possible that the start of each Age marks when the world was destroyed. This would mean that the Void Century wasn't as destructive as the battles that took place then. Though the likelihood of this is low, since the war in the Void Century led to a rise of 200 meters in sea level. BUT again this also, is just VP's speculation and it's possible this rise in water happened BEFORE Joyboy, rather it happened, in this theory, during the 2nd destruction of the world, 1522 leading to the "Age of Sea Circle".

----------------
----------------

Alright y'all this is my take on the two destructions of the World. And all of this ultimately does translate to Luffy being sort of a jesus like figure, but not really, since he's not preaching a religion. But I think that's a given in all major mangas, they're all about the chosen ones, all it depends on is the scope of that chosen on. IE, even Sena from Eyeshield 21 is a "Chosen one" for japanese football. And I don't really have any issues with it either, I'm just here for the story, which I've been enjoying so far.

BUT LET ME KNOW WHAT Y'ALL THINK, WHETHER YOU AGREE OR DISAGREE... OR FEEL FREE TO ADD IN MORE.

CHAPTER 1138 UPDATE:

Age of Heaven ( The 1st World) 5000+ Years ago to 1522 years ago:

The World used to be have immense technology more than 1522+ years ago, in the "Age of Heaven". This is an era where Alabasta had it's own heroes before getting taken over by the modern-day Alabasta dynasty. Also the Ohara's "Tree of Knowledge" being planted (5000+ years ago) in the "Age of Heaven" makes thematical sense as well. Likely this is an empire that had been in power across many millenia.

The below painting is likely from the Age of Heaven era (1st world), where the lil homies are treated like slaves and experimented on similar to how the Celestial Dragons experiment on the humans with trying out Devil Fruits. Bonney being somebody who is result of that human experimentation with genetics. Or the other comparison being the Seraphim/cloning.

Analysis of the poem:
"There was fire upon the earth" - Massive wars going everywhere around the world of high destructive capabilities. Which is inline with Alabastian dynasty fighting wars and taking over "Kahira" near the end of Age of Heaven.

"Humanity succumbed to desire and touched the forbidden sun" - They were essentially acting like Gods due to their technological advancements. Remember Vegapunk also used a similar statement to describe himself about how he flew too close to the sun with his pushing of a an eternal endless energy. Now unlike Vegapunk, the civilization that existed in the Age of Heaven had already grasped this energy to a large extent, hence the "touched the forbidden sun", aka the Mother Flame.
- "Slaves made a wish and the sun god appeared" - This gives bit more credence to VP's hypothesis of DFs stemming from desire. Over the centuries (or however long it takes for the wishes to become a fruit) in the Age of Heaven, the slaves around the world wished upon the existence of a figure to free them with joy and such, and this led to the 1st appearance of the Nika Nika fruit. So when Who's Who is talking about the "ancient times" here this is going BEYOND the Void Century. So this idea of Nika has been floating around among the "slaves" of history for multiple millenias.

- "But the god of earth became enraged", the supreme ruler of this vast empire was enraged at the appearance of the one who now led those that had been enslaved. As many said, likely referring to Imu's ancestor or the ancient being that's still in power since that era. With "Imu" name also being related to Earth.

- "Alongside the serpent of hell" Now this is where it becomes interesting imo. While Imu is related to the earth similar to Saturn/Venu/Jupeter/etc being related to specific planets. We know Imu also possess a power akin to a Dragon, where he's able to eat the fire thrown by the mera mera, and also had a Dragon like tail. It's very much possible in the past the two were seperated entities, but now they're 1 and the same. The God of the Earth & Serpent of Hell becoming union in order to take down a greater threat and maintain power. Because the symbol of the CD is literally the "Hoof of the Dragon", so that serpent is a Dragon, and as others like myself hypothesized, Imu is the "Western Dragon" and likely the highest fruit of "dragon-dragon" zoan line...

-"enveloped the world in death and darkness." We're told that the war in the Void Century happened over the course of 200 years or so. In my opinion, the war that brought an end to the Age of Heaven about 1522+ years ago happened over the course of more than 200 years. Let's just take the facts of the Alabasta history

326 Age of Heaven (AoH) - The "Great Hero" Oltea, Mamudin, did something. Interestingly this a "Hero" from over 1700+ years ago. And the only big time modern hero that we know of is Garp. The fact this dude is called "The Great Hero", mf probably did some insane shit, explaining why Robin's statement was cut off.
260 AoH - We have a new kind of the Bitien Dynasty, Tymar taking the throne.
239 AoH - literally less than 30 years later, Alabastian Dynasty is established.
^^^ This to me is describing an era of turmoil, where you have big events happening in just a 100 year span, with dynasties getting flipped. Now we replicate that to a worldwide scale... and you have a world of death and darkness.

- "They could never meet again," Maybe the OG Nika and OG Imu were friends? This would be very similar to the "Prince of Egypt" version of Moses' story, where Ramses & Moses are essentially brothas, but Moses turns on Ramses to FREE his people. In this case the OG Nika turned on the OG Imu to free the slaves.

The 2nd World - Start of Age of SeaCircle 1522 years ago to 800 years ago

The ending of the the 1st world marked the age of the Sea circle, it's likely to calm down all the fire and destruction that was left in wake of the great war, the world had been flooded artificially or naturally as an aftermath result. But this era of sea circle peaking in the big rise of 200 meters of water during the Void Century:

Analysis of the poem:

- "There was a breath upon the emptiness.".. The world had start to rebuild itself with being led by the people who made the pact of the "D." that brought the downfall of the big kingdom in AoH.
- "The God of the Forest sent forth Demons."... Unsure what this is about
- "The sun merely spread the embers of war" ... Remember how VP said that the war hadn't ended, but it's been a 800 year war? Yea, this is what it's referring to imo.
- "The people of the Half-moon dreamed. The people of the moon dreamed."... Likely a reference to the ancestors of the white-winged people and the lunarian genocides.
- "Humanity killed the sun and then ascended to Divinity."... In this the 20 Kingdoms are what's used to refer to as "humanity" and them killing Joyboy and taking the mantel of the Celestial Dragons as the "Gods" of the world.
- "The God of the Sea became enraged"... This could be a reference to the start of the pirates triggered by Joyboy, the 1st pirate. Since we know big time pirates like Oars existed 400 years ago. Or how the Giant Pirates roamed around long before the time of Roger and such. Pirates representing the rage of the sea towards those that ascended into Godhood, the CD. No mere coincidence that the CD's worst enemies are pirates, and even Dragon essentially being a pirate without being labeled as one.
- "They could never meet again" Joyboy-Imu conflict, based on the present day Imu's resentment towards Joyboy they were also likely friends at some point.

I think it's quite possible that the "God of Forest" is Imu in this. Meaning God of the Forest and God of the Earth are one and the same. Since they're pretty redundant when you think about it.

- But now the question becomes why didn't this trigger into a new "age"... the answer is simply because unlike the 1st war, this war never actually ended. And starting over a new calendar would make it harder for the CDs to manipulate the history and cover up the Void Century. Because even though only 100 years are the "Void century" we know this great war happened over the span of more than 100+ years... yet nobody even knows about it. Meaning it's not simply the "Void Century" history that has been distorted by numerous more things. There might be references and points of historical information for thousands of years back, but the true context of that history is more than likely manipulated. Simply look at how most of the new era marines had forgotten about the Rocks Pirates easily within just a 40 year span, even though the WG didn't remove the past 40 years. This is an example of peak history manipulation.

THE FINAL WAR [soon to happen]:

This only gives credence to Whitebeard's statement of the big war that'd happen when somebody finds the One Piece. People say this war would happen over the One Piece, but that isn't the case at all. In this picture below we have the Minks represented by some chump that looks like Inu. We have Cyborgs represented by Emeth. The Fishmen people. Sky people. Posiedon herself. And various armies of different groups, along with Loki taking on to the seas to go fight against the CD.

This boat here representing the Marines that will be fighting on the side of the World Government.

Notice how the entity changes from looking like a lizard to looking like a Demon from the 1st war. I think this is a representation of the "God of Earth" and the "Serpant" becoming unified into a singular entity. With the sun of course representing the Mother Flame which Imu now controls.

Analysis of the poem:

- "There was void upon the Chaos".. referring to the era of "peace" created over the past 800 years.
- "The unbidden shadows remember the day fo the promise and they hear the voice of the Fragmented moon." The forgotten ones and those who've been living in the shadows of history like the D./Minks/Giants/Bucaneers/lunarians/etc waiting on the day of promise.
- "The God of the Sun dances and laughs. Guiding the world to it's end." Ending of the Celestial Dragon's rule, they're referred to as 'Creators of the World' by multiple characters. The term 'world' here simply referring to the current order of the world, not the physical world itself being destroyed and ended.
- "The Sun will return and a new dawn will come." The prophecy that we've seen multiple characters talk about now.
- "They will surely meet again." Meeting of Nika and Imu again.

This is sort of my rationalization of the current information that we now have. Do let me know what y'all think about my correlation of these events with the ages and do add on.

I agree and it is pretty interesting, and with Luffy being a Jesus figure, I would like to mention, without Nika's powers, the alliance and Luffy would have lost, they won because that power was given to him, I think Nika is meant to be the Jesus figure, and this may play out as in the final war mayeb Luffy fights Blackbeard and Nika fights Imu
I don't think Luffy is "jesus figure" in the same sense I'd consider somebody like Naruto to be one. But he is for sure a the normal chosen one arc type.

I don't think Luffy is "jesus figure" in the same sense I'd consider somebody like Naruto to be one. But he is for sure a the normal chosen one arc type.
