Character Discussion Choppers fruit should be retconed

I dunno why it actually bothers me so much, but Chopper not actually turning into a human when he has the fruit is a pet peeve of mine. He should just say its a Hito Hito no mi: Model Mink or something.
Only excuse for all this would be if Oda gave chopper some good moment where he awakens the fruit and turns into a human or something to make the moral that humans = divine or if that would piss of too many pagans, just say that he never accepted himself being an actuall human and turning into one fully finaly is a charachter moment.

I do think it’s weird how he doesn’t have a fruit model.

I’m thinking it may get retconned as the giant model because of his monster form being so big and would be a good power boost if he did gain the ability to become a full giant
