Sasuke literraly admits his inferiority to Chuunin exam Naruto here. He can't beat him IMO.
Sasuke would have beaten Gaara in the fight since he had wounded him and the cocoon had collapsed. He could have killed Gaara before he completed his transformation into Shukaku if there had been no interruption.
The semi-finals would have been Naruto vs Sasuke and Shino vs Temari.
Naruto beat Sasuke as I showed above.
For Shino vs. Temari:
Temari was trying to get as far away from Shino as possible for two reasons: First, to avoid being overrun by his bugs. Second, to maximize the effectiveness of his own tessenjutsu. Temari's wind release is Shino's worst nightmare because his insects travel mainly by plane. Unfortunately for Shino, Temari is aware of the holes in the ground because of her match with Shikamaru. Shino's only hope at this stage would be to try to get the insects into the shadows of the stadium walls and try to get around it, then attack Temari from behind. However, this would be a very long and tedious method, and Temari would probably notice it at some point. Even if she didn't, she could use her fan to repel the swarm. Eventually, Shino would be blown away and stunned.
Temari win.
Final: Naruto vs Temari
Well...too bad for Temari. After going this far. She gonna be destroyed.
