It only makes sense. Sanji and Carrot had some pretty special interactions and she's one of the few girls outside of his own family that Sanji never flirted with, always treating her like an actual little sister, like most of the Straw Hats did before Oda seemingly abandoned her.

I don't have a problem with pervy Sanji and its funny when his flirtiness isn't Fishman Island nosebleed-tier stupid, but it was nice to see him have an actual wholesome bond with Carrot that felt like an real family moment, especially after Pedro died.

I mean c'mon. Look at this and tell me it wasn't a perfect family portrait.

And Oda didn't even have the guts to give her a proper sendoff while the anime actually bothered to care. Oda for the love of Joyboy, please have her in that barrel like Neko and Inu before her.

The hints and teh setup was so retardedlty strong, she has the most crew connection and moments with the SH outside of maybe Momo, but half of them hated Momo
