Imagine she shows up in this Wano cover story lol.

I have a desperate headcanon that Yamato is running to Egghead by running on the ocean in wolf form, freezing the surface as she runs to provide footing ofc, whilst carrying Carrot on her back, as Yamato finally realises how stupid her last minute change of mind to not join the SHs was and they would be like this OTW to Egghead:

The better timeline :josad:

The better timeline :josad:

AMEN! Odas sexism and furryphobia as well as general fraudulence keeps giving us the worst timelines instead!

That 1st fanart is one of my faves but the 2nd is new to me and I love it! Even follows certain patterns and evens out the SHs so nicely and equally there!

Sigh....fuck Oda.

@Warback remember don't talk spoilers outside the thread until chapter is out
Holy fuck I just thought this thread was like three other threads for some reason. Crazy. Ohhhhh it's the Pokemon discussion (and 7 am clown brain).

...eh, why not.

Stussy has continued to act as a spy like character even after switching sides. So, Stussy's doing spy-like activities.

It's possible it's something to do with Punk Records, but, I assume Vegapunk would have taken care of that alongside him taking care of the video broadcast.

While Vegapunk is an insane person with horrible ethics when it comes to the misuse of his creations, he does have a kind heart, and does hates war and suffering. Vegapunk is smart enough to realize what the WG could do with the Mother Flame. The Seraphim are going to survive the Buster Call easily, but, we don't know much about the Mother Flame. If it's an energy producing machine, it stands to reason the Mother Flame would be held in a very safe/protective environment, as technology like that (look at nuclear technology for an immediate example) is very unstable and can cause huge explosions if messed with.

So, the Mother Flame is kept in an area safe from a Buster Call. Since Vegapunk is familiar with Seastone, it's possible this could be used here. Keep in mind we haven't seen the walls Vegapunk designed to hold back Whitebeard used in this arc at all:

The walls used in Marineford were so powerful Whitebeard's full Gura force, which he and Blackbeard both used to destory Marineford in multiple areas, did barely any damage. So, the Buster Call would be useless against destroying the Mother Flame, which is why Saturn was comfortable calling in a Buster Call. Even if York died, the Mother Flame, Punk Records (if it has the same defenses) and Seraphim would survive and could be re-engineered by lesser scientists by the WG.

So, Stussy is going to set the Mother Flame on a timer so it blows up, keeping it from the WG's hands. Keep in mind Stussy was shown responding to Lucci's comments regarding the Mother Flame at the beginning of this arc in Chapter 1062 when CP0 was approaching Egghead with S-Bear:

Lucci being connected to the Lulusia incident here and still in the Labophase indicates he could move to the Mother Flame, too. Part of Lucci's orders were to determine the location of the Mother Flame during the day timeskip when York was captured.

The fact they needed Lucci to figure out where it is also implies the Mother Flame's Power Station is so new the WG hasn't seen it fully yet.

We'll get a Lucci vs Stussy fight inside the Mother Flame, with Lucci trying to turn it off while Stussy tries to keep it on. We've already seen Stussy openly lament her own existence, as well as risk her own life to save Vegapunk. Oda has portrayed Stussy as a sacrificial character in Egghead, from her giving up her career, to her using her body as a shield:

Here in Kuma's flashback we see Stussy questioning her worth as a clone, further showcasing her lack of commitment to her own life:

Stussy sacrificing herself to destroy the Mother Flame so the WG can't commit mass murder, is a wonderful subversion of Cipher Pol 9's original goal to secure Pluton via Robin, so Pluton couldn't be used to destroy the world. Lucci, who claimed to fight against the world's destruction by securing Pluton, would be fighting TO DESTROY THE WORLD by attempting to give the WG the Mother Flame, while Stussy would be honoring what his goal should be, to stop ancient technology from causing senseless destruction.

Lucci was trying to stop pirates from using Pluton to destroy the world, Stussy is trying to stop the government from using the Mother Flame to destroy the world, and they're going to fight about it. Narratively, Stussy has been framed as antagonistic towards Kaku and Lucci through the entire arc.

-Telling Lucci not to question Lulusia
-Letting Kaku hit the laser grid then laughing about it
-Knocking Kaku and Lucci out
-Lucci stabbing Stussy with his Finger Pistol

Kaku randomly rejoining the fray after being serious injured and bubble-boy'd doesn't really track for me.

(random @Rambles tag)

So, this is what I've got regarding Stussy's purpose in Egghead:

-Stussy hears about Lulusia, realizes the Mother Flame was used, and someone betrayed Vegapunk and gave the Mother Flame to the WG.
-Stussy tells Vegapunk about Lulusia and him being betrayed
-Vegapunk says they must destroy the Power Plant/Mother Flame to stop the WG's mass murder.
-Stussy accepts the mission, but had to heal herself after Lucci's attack, and is now at the Power Plant.
-Lucci gets a call; he needs to secure the Mother Flame, the Marines will handle Zoro
-Lucci heads off to the Power Plant and fights Stussy.
-Stussy is losing, but holds Lucci back, and imagines Zou being destroyed by the WG, and a rabbit Mink in silhouette.
-Lucci realizes the explosion is imminent, and tries to kill Stussy himself before they blow up

-Bonney turns Kuma into Nika Jesus using Distorted Future and Nika Jesus Kuma teleports everyone off the exploding island and to Elbaf/Wano, respectively.
-Stussy ends up on Zou and is healed by Roronoa Zoro-approved Magic Mink Medicine, where she meets her estranged daughter, Carrot, who is now the Queen of Zou.
-Lucci ends up on Wano with Luffy, Zoro, Franky, Robin, and Chopper to deal with Blackbeard going for Pluton.
-Kaku is kidnapped by York, who flies off in her own escape rocket with the Seraphim, but also ends up in Wano for Pluton since York joins the Blackbeard Pirates.
-Laffitte is already in Wano hypnotizing people to take over the country, revealing that Momo and Hiyori are close friends with Yamato, Kaido's child, and O-Tama, a survivor of the Kurozumi clan.
-Stussy on Zou helps Wano's Borders open to unleash Pluton.

Carrot training are where Stussy teaches Carrot advanced Rokushiki techniques. Carrot learns Flying Electro Finger Pistol, and can shoot Electro bullets out of her fingers.

Did you actually read all that?

:milaugh:

I wish I could find some way to vie for her as Nakama. To people who think my theories are agenda based, there is no character I want to join the crew more than Stussy besides Vivi, who already has an invite in. I've racked my brains and just can't justify Stussy joining the crew.

The only reason I don't want Stussy to join the Straw Hats is to see Oda nerf her the way he did Robin, but, fuck it, Robin's nerf was worth her joining and Stussy's would be, too.

That's fine, though. Stussy will help bring about the Dawn by teaching Carrot Rabbit Rokushiki, wheeeeeeeeeeee.
