Imo it has the potential

Unlike previous fights, Kizaru isn’t massively stronger than Luffy. The two are on the same level and hence Oda doesn’t need to use plot to make Luffy win.

Having potential isn’t the same as what we could get.

This fight is great since both are on the same level, but since it came out of nowhere I doubt Oda is gonna show everything unfortunately so most of could be skipped and only show us highlights of it.

Kizaru stopped being on Luffy’s level the second Luffy got ACoC and split the sky. Adding G5 just widened the gap.

What we’re getting is a pile of horse manure where Luffy reverts back to his DR/WCI self Haki wise to add fake tension.

It’s partly true, that Luffy not using advCoC which was the main reason he won against Kaido. However, saying he is back to being as he was in DR/WCI is too much. He still has advCoO abd AdvCoA which he didn’t have back then as well as thinking Luffy is physically hasn’t gotten far stronger over that period of time going through extreme diffs doesn’t make sense. Nevertheless, I get your point of fake tension yet assuming Luffy even with AdvCoC can defeat Kaido with less than high to extreme diff preposterous.

Didn’t know Caribou and Monet were have the strongest powers that’s comparable to advCoC…. Do you know how flawed your argument is? And comparable to advCoC said by whom? You!

Having logia doesn’t mean or even have the potential to make you one of the strongest. However, advCoC does mean it. Again advCoC has the potential to make it or break it when it comes to fights on such scale.

Definitely not it’s off to the most mid start doesn’t look that great either so far. Kizaru isn’t a brawler Loda might as well give goofy a sword at this point.

Last chapter has a good cliffhanger but this chapter was fucking mid as hell.

G5 Luffy vs. Kizaru need to be at least worth 2 chapters of fighting to be considered one of the best. If it ends in like half a chapter after, one of the longest-running Admirals that violated the whole crew, then Oda is just getting tired.
