Given that the toki toki no mi exists, could items and/or people from the void century have been sent to the future and subsequently appear in our current timeline?
Say the ancient kingdom new it would be defeated, but also knew that Joyboy would eventually return in order to defeat Imu. If the ancient kingdom could somehow predict when the next joyboy would arrive, they could then use the toki toki no mi in order to send people/items to the future in order to ensure that the next joyboy doesn't fail like the first joyboy did.
Oda could possibly repeat the toki toki no mi plotline in the final war. Perhaps Joyboy's crew was sent to the future in order to defeat Imu, similar to the scabbards going to the future to beat Kaido. This could tie into the burned man. Perhaps he and his crew are part of Joyboy's crew, and they are awaiting the return of Joyboy.
