You ever realize that we don't actually know Joyboy's name?

Nika isn't his name, its his DF
Joyboy also isn't a name, its an epithet. It describes the state he is in when he uses awakening.

We can assume Joyboy isn't his name because Luffy himself was referred to as joyboy, by both zunisha and by the people of wano. This doesn't make sense if it was literally his name.

I think it makes the most sense if the D is joyboy's name. The will of D would then be the will of Joyboy.
