A theory I originally posted here:

I actually think we will see Jormangundr and Fenrir at EOS. The fact that Nidhoggr already appeared in MMA form prior to its full fruit reveal makes me think that Fenrir and Jormangundr are not just abstract ideas, but that they also literally exist in the OP world.

So how do we determine who Fenrir is? Well, I think the way we determine who Fenrir is is by looking at who Fenrir is in mythology.

In Norse mythology, Fenrir is the Wolf who kills Odin during Ragnarok

But prior to Ragnarok Fenrir was imprisoned.

So by natural extension, it would make sense to assume Fenrir in OP would be a currently imprisoned character who will one day kill the All-God of One Piece. So who in the OP world is currently imprisoned who could have a legitimate chance at killing the One Piece all-God?

….Is Davy Jones imprisoned on the Sea Floor? And when Davy Jones is unleashed at EOS, will Davy Jones kill Imu?

Imagine an immortal man who cannot die, cursed to live in an eternal state of drowning on the Sea Floor. And if the above panel is any indication, it was likely Imu himself who cursed him. Sounds like the perfect recipe for a grudge right?

I have often said that I think Imu’s fruit is guaranteed to be Teach’s third fruit, which would require someone to actually kill Imu right? But Luffy won’t kill Imu, so that begs the question of who will? Well, Davy Jones probably has a bigger grudge against Imu than anyone else…would DJ be the perfect man to kill him?

If so, it seems like Davy Jones would be the perfect candidate to wield the Fenrir Fruit. Oda is already associating Davy Jones with Elbaph and Norse themes:

The more shit goes on, the more I suspect Luffy may be more of a minor player on the EOS power scale similar to Marineford. I actually think it’s highly likely that there will be several characters explicitly stronger than him during the final war, and I think a Fenrir Fruited Davy Jones would be among them.

Very dope theory.

If he lives on the seafloor, would Jormungandr not be more appropriate?

I'm personally betting on Davy Jones being a Nika-esque figure who is BB's final zoan tbh.

Do you have any other instances of DJ sharing anything with Fenrir? If anything they seem opposed in origin; Jones was a cheat, while Fenrir trusted in the honour of the gods and lost his freedom for it.
