People tend to not understand power scaling or how dbz defined it or how it became the only one to use majorly sure shows like naruto had some statements here or there but it's pretty vague versus dbz's very well set up power levels with us pretty knowing how each character stacks up to one another with statements being quite consistent for the most part unlike naruto where nearly every statement is contradicted prime example being the third kazekage's power like he was allegedly the strongest kazekage but by feats and scaling, That would just not be possible unless you think sakura solos rasa or gaara whom can like hold up meteors.
So let's start with statements so it's said by freeza that his parents were the only ones to harm him prior to goku esblishing that king cold of the next arc would be stronger. With the next arc confirming this by again stating king cold is the stronger of the two so beyond super saiyan goku. This was the first time that freeza was setup as being weaker then somebody.
Of course all this hype for king cold was pretty well destroyed by trunks with soloing both the amped mecha freeza and the stronger king cold. The scaling for this form of freeza gets even worse as this same trunks who solo'd both members of the cold family couldt do anything to goku whatsoever with him causally blocking the sword strikes from mirai trunks. There's also the androids in trunks timeline who obviously scale far above this freeza by both statements and feats (The scans for this part will be covered in the comment section as this part of my thread here will already be crowded as would be.
Before getting on to the bit with pikkon, I just wanna note that this amped mecha freeza and king cold are so strong that they could take on namek saga goku alone with both king cold and freeza stating this on two separate occasions. Once by cold before he retrieves freeza and second by his son when they are on earth.
We dont get anything related to freeza for a good bit after this point until we hit the otherworld saga with pikkon causally soloing king cold,freeza and cell.
Freeza as this point in the story would be so weak by comparison to the current fighters that even a base gohan could deal with him, I know this would be from fusion reborn but it's set sometime near the otherworld so it's fine plus this section would be bare anyways.
Going to finish off og dragon ball run here by noting how easily goku dealt with cell and freeza in gt just showing how much powerful that the saiyan has become.
So far later in production, We get the film yo son goku and his friends return where this dude named abokado shows up and he's this minion of freeza who overtime has gotten as strong as the former emperor of the universe himself with goku stating that freeza was very weak in hindsight with that propting goku to send goten to fight this foe with saying they are perfect for the kids with these same kids then no diffing the freeza level enemy.
It's played up as a joke too with the emperor of the universe indirectly losing to some brats being played for laughs
So then even far later in production, We get the film fukatu no f which amps freeza to stronger then blue goku but he losses due to lack of stamina
Anyways far later when the emperor reappears in the tournament of power, He gets amped again but it's only enough to keep up with base goku now showing how powerful that the saiyan has become in these few months since the events of fukastu no f
So when we get to the tournament, Freeza kinda just jobs for most of it with him getting utterly embarrassed by toppo and then broly like a month later after the tournament
