Death Battle-Screw Attack Series

Didn’t really watch them again after how much the wanked Superman in their Superman vs Goku match. They also ridiculously downplayed both Naruto and Ichigo in their death battle.

Won’t be surprised if they downplayed Broly in their newest release lmao.

Their fun to watch on an entertainment standpoint.

But imma have to go with what @Admiral Lee Hung said. When it comes to simple topics they pretty good.

But manga and comic book territory where it takes some scaling is yikes. Most of the time they half ass the scaling on atleast one out of the 2 *****.

Comic book scaling is always fucked. Ion remember WB hulk being above universal, but i do know for a fact that Immortal Hulk is his strongest incarnation.

Sometimes they got hulk fighting and hurting universal+ beings in the comics only to get swatted by street level ***** in a different issue. Its idk on all points when Marvel and DC involved
Yeah Godzilla vs Gamera I think was the only video of theirs I watched where I was like “huh. Pretty correct actually.” Lol.

But those are movie characters where power scaling isn’t as inconsistent as some other series can be.

But like, the Guts vs Nightmare video? Guts is my favorite fictional character ever, and even I was like “yeah they basically just gave Guts the win because they are Berserk fanboys. Guts isn’t beating Nightmare in a fight lol.”

Their videos are pretty much fanservice/entertainment and rarely quality scaling. Seth the Programmer did an excellent takedown of their Goku vs Superman video where they made basic mathematical errors like dividing SSJ2 Goku’s speed from SSJ1, instead of multiplying. And released that calc in the final video without even realizing it. And then they multiplied SSJ3 Goku’s speed from the SSJ2 number which had been divided from 1, resulting in them claiming that SSJ1 Goku and SSJ3 Goku had the exact same speed lol. Or something like that. Horrific basic errors that expose the point of Death Battle:

To make money off of YouTube revenue and nothing more lol.

They made my man Nightmare lose to Guts :josad:

Nightmare'd give him the Donavan before crushing Guts' head.

I just saw where they're doing the "possibly millions of times stronger" estimates. I don't think that Beerus and Goku almost destroying the Universe is treated too seriously, because it happened once and never again? AFAIK, the common consensus is to ignore that or to assume the Goku that fought Beerus had a very special power up in the form of Super Saiyan God that didn't carry over after the fight.

Because, stronger versions of Goku (much, much stronger) clashed with someone on Beerus' level (Jiren) and the Universe wasn't in danger and there wasn't any indication of their battle being close to the level required to threaten the Universe.

Even if someone wants to say Zeno was preventing it — the end all be all power in DBS — Goku versus Goku Black or Golden Frieza had no similar results despite both being equal to or slightly above a much stronger version of Goku.

Tl;DR — It looks like they took a really weird scene in Dragon Ball Super that's never again brought up and later soft contradicted to scale everything off of.
Well that can be explained pretty easly: they have ki control.

And there’s been more universal+ feats in Super. The most blatant one is with Infinite Zamasu literally traversing entire space-time continuums when he took over Future Trunks’ universe and Zeno considering it bad enough to wipe out the entire timeline.

Frieza didn't have that good of ki control when fighting Goku and if your power is having that much backlash from mere collisions, the dispersal of ki based attacks should be causing havoc on the Universe. That's a cop out answer, especially after the Moro arc where Vegeta's Ki control is also way off.

Zeno is also able to delete 13 Universes without needing to conjure up the effort to think. He's not exactly the standard you put Goku or even Broly on.

I don't know anything about World Beater Hulks feats lol
Me neither lol. But even by Screw Attack’s own logic...

So to be fair, they didn’t actually say Broly was millions of times stronger than WB Hulk, they said Gogeta was, but Broly and Gogeta are in the same realm ya know? So it follows they think Broly is that much stronger than Hulk but like...how?

When you yourself point out that WBH is pretty far above universal but then claim Broly is much stronger than him anyway, when I’m pretty sure Broly’s best feat is breaking a universe alongside Gogeta? When WBH did that by himself?

It just doesn’t make sense to me. And then they point out that in one punch, WBH bloodied a character who had two universes crash into him at once without taking any injury lol. How is Broly far above that exactly?

I actually made some comments on them before on another thread. Lol.

I do not take them seriously in general. Lel.
I think it was Goku Vs Superman that started the trend of then trying to do giant videos on subjects they have no expertise in lol. It’s all about that AdRev baby.

Well, their power scaling might not be so good but at least they are commissioning some banging soundtracks for these fights. :pepapoo:
