Controversial Devil's advocate: Why Imu didn’t showed up at Egghead?

#21
Imu didn't seem as bothered by Vegapunk's message, given his calm reaction. Unlike in Elbaf, where the stakes were higher (Marijoa in flames + conquering Elbaf as a key factor in conquering the world). Likewise, God Valley was at risk of unfolding larger incidents.

But surely, plot is always an argument, because Imu can spawn for every small issue.
This seems kind of contradiction because Vegapunk was worldwide telling everyone what happened in such void century that they tried to cover up for 800 years and this includes Ohara that was doing researches about it. If anything the highest stake was that.

One thing I was thinking about is that Joy Boy could've been a Davy, maybe even Davy D. Jones himself. The WG is putting the Davy Clan in a pedestal like we've never seen before. I mean, they got a D. like Garp in the marines, and also Dragon at some point and Saul too, so they don't really worry that much about all D. families... as for the Davy Clan, they're treated like Buccaneers or Lunarians, they have a target over their heads just for existing.

All things considered, the Egghead Incident and the God Valley Incident had two different weights: the Egghead's situation was dire, but the WG had a lot of forces there already (1 admiral, 5 gorosei and a whole fleet of ships) against just 1 neophyte yonko, so Imu probably thought that it was overkill already. On the other hand, GV was on a whole different level: we had Xebec, Roger, Whitebeard, et al., plus a lot of Davy Clan members (even if they weren't that much of a threat, they apparently shouldn't be allowed to even exist), so, if my hyphotesis is true, it was probably the most dangerous situation for the WG since the Void Century.
I'd say that what made most of sense to me.

Then you will tell me that Imu didn't acknowledge 4 Gorosei disappearing from Mariejois?
Basically. It's not like Imu's hanging out with the Gorosei all day. They have their work, and Imu has...hobbies? If the Gorosei left, I'm not sure if Imu would actually be aware of it, right away. It kind of depends on how the Abyss powers work. But, we know that the Gorosei are capable of keeping secrets from Imu, like Saturn keeping Emet a secret. Imu isn't aware of everything the Gorosei do. So, it's possible they come and go without Imu's knowledge more often than we'd think.

I think up until Egghead, Imu was trusting the Gorosei to more or less have all this handled for them. After Egghead is likely when that trust started to break down.

In chapter 1116, we do see Imu get angry at Vegapunk during the message. It did seem to bother Imu. But, not as much as Joyboy's Haki Knot did. That's likely what pushed Imu over the edge.
