Tbh, I don't see many claimed fruits that the BBs can steal without a buncha effort. Most users either have heavy backup, their fruits r just lemons that Blackbeard wouldn't want, or they're just not weak enough to get their power jacked
The DF users BB should gun for:
Blueno: Power's good & his organization wouldn't care if he died
Buggy: His power's good, he's weak
Vander Decken: He's locked up (in a non-WG jail). In the hands of a melee fighter, they could basically be Thor
Mansherry: Her power's amazing, she's a delicate snowflake, & all of her bodyguards could fit in a shoe

Sugar has one of the most broken Devil fruits ever.

1) It stops the user's aging.
2) Can transform opponents into a toy in an instant.
3) Can bind them with a contract to get them to obey her orders involuntarily.
4) Erases all memories anyone has of the opponent.

They were looking for Mera and failed. They might look for a DF that requires killing someone this time instead.

BB can make sure they don't spawn somewhere.

Seeing how Magma Magma completely outclassed Mera Mera in Marineford, they should aim for Magma Magma. It also got hyped as among the 1 having the highest AP.

Result can be very different though, as in Navy getting Gura Gura and Yami Yami instead.
