Genuinely interested in the thoughts of WG on this matter. These's an abundance of reports and testimonies about Hitler's final few days in the Fuhrur bunker up until the gunshot went off. But due to the body being burned and the USSR not reporting they had it for some time, it's caused a big stir in the conspiritorial community. Many think Hitler escaped to South America like other Nazi officials such as Adolf Eichmann.

So. Did Hitler somehow survive WWII and evade capture/identification?

I watched some documentaries that said that he ran away to some exotic country. Judging by his power and influence on some people that wouldn't be too far from the truth although this like stretching some bullshit One Piece plot IRL.

Don't think he did tbh.

It’s highly unlikely that Hitler survived and escaped for several reasons:

1) Several eye witnesses saw Hitler and Eva’s corpses.

2) Dental records have long already confirmed that it was Hitler who died in the bunker.

3) Hitler’s personality makes it highly unlikely that he would flee Berlin. Hitler beileved Berlin to be the heart of his future 1000 year reich and would not abandon it under any circumstances, turning down a plethora of offers from his subordinates to allow him to escape. The conspiracy theory of Hitler escaping completely ignores Hitler’s own feelings and love with Berlin and his “superior race”.
