Imu still remembers Davy Jones after 800 years at god valley. But they still calls Rocks "Davy" instead. Why are they so obsessed with the original Davy Jones, was he the only one strong enough to challange Imu?

Why does Imu still remember them if he defeated them in the void century? To me it seems like Imu killed countless opponents over the last 800 years, yet he still remembers Davy Jones. Lilly and Joyboy are similar in that Imu still obsesses over them, they are all D.

Why does Imu still remember them if he defeated them in the void century? To me it seems like Imu killed countless opponents over the last 800 years, yet he still remembers Davy Jones. Lilly and Joyboy are similar in that Imu still obsesses over them, they are all D.

Multiple things that would be cool : Davy Jones was the ancient kingdom’s king and Imu used domi reversi/ his godknight seal on his council (I like the theory that Saturn could have been one of their scientist and that’s why he felt compelled to save Emeth 200 years ago.)

By doing that they could have infiltrated the AK and done fked up acts little by little, tarnishing the AK's image in the world.
So my theory would be that Imu didn’t really kill Davy Jones but he set him up by having other countries ally themselves against the AK, creating the World government.

I like to believe Imu experiences time like they’re still in the past I don’t think Imus omnipresent or omniscient but they way they refer to things is that they don’t acknowledge current present people but more so people they resemble in the past which is why Imu loves saying the word history a lot because they are literally living history itself at first I thought it was just imu being ancient and having a very archaic way of talking but We know that even joyboy didn’t talk like that.Imu Very rarely refers to modern day people for who they are there are however unique times where Imu has that like when Harald was killed by Loki this was so Suprising that even imu had to acknowledge the extremely low probability of a elbaf King ever being like Harald again noting his Strength but also his difference from the norm being from a place that breeds warfare and violence but chooses to humble himself down to serve imu for the peace of his country.Which I’m curious to how Loki and Imus conversation could go down,will Imu refer to him as oars or some past void century ancient giant or would Imu consider him unique even in his“history”.How would Imu react to Loki in person?

now for the answer imu most likely did kill Davy jones they refer to luffy as joyboy and we know Joyboy is 100% deceased imu most likely refers to luffy and rocks that way because imu understands how the will of D works and that even beyond the grave ideals and dreams have been shared and passed on even in the most unlikely ways.Davy jones could still be alive tho I even think he could be the man marked by flames but he’s not a strong choice feel like it wouldn’t really fit.

I wouldn’t be suprised if imu Has some History/probabilty or fate related ability with how many references it makes to time,centuries and history .
