Yes I promised never to make a thread about Sanji but this has been bugging me for a while. (Don't worry, I'll never do this again)
What happened to Frank and Ussop Modifying the Raid suit?
Didn't Sanji say something about modifications?
I mean a lot of people thought that the modifications were supposed to be cosmetic but the Raid suit looks the same.
So does that mean Sanji asked for actual functional modifications? Did he ask for nipple lights? Okay no.
A reasonable answer maybe that the raid suit was in fact fire proof before so Sanji couldn't use fire abilities but it's been fixed so he can use them now.
Another interesting possiblity is that Franky and Ussop were probably fixing up the ships all through the week before Onigashima so maybe Sanji hasn't asked them yet for modifications. This could mean two things:
1. Sanji will ask for modications after Onigashima when everything is done in the arc which means his final fight will be him as Germa 66. (Which I assume he doesn't like)
2. Sanji will ask for modications after Onigashima when the strawhats lose and recuperate which means his final fight will be him with the modified suit that no longer looks like Germa 66. (THIS ONE IS THE BEST OPTION)
(I prefer this last option because it aligns with the losing the Onigashima battle theory and also Zoro. For some reason the Zoro-Shusui-Ryuma plot line has been left hanging as Zoro says he'll visit Ryuma's grave after the Onigashima battle but that's weird. Why would a plot line that started in Wano chapter 1 just break off in the middle of the arc and reappear at the very end having not mattered to the climax? Unless of course Onigashima isn't the actual climax and afterwards when Zoro does go to the grave, it will be before the actual final battle where this plot line will actually matter to the real climax)
So what do you think?
