Character Discussion Did Oda Just Confirm Imu’s Real Appearance? Turns Out It's Not a Silhouette???

Did Oda just confirm that the black blob is Imu’s real appearance? I honestly thought he was just being hidden in silhouette since Oda likes to tease character designs.

I don’t really care either way, since my GOAT @Blackbeard will kill him and claim the throne before facing Luffy, but it’s still weird how Oda seemed to casually confirm it like that. Am I overthinking this like a ZKK fan in 2020, or did Oda really just confirm Imu’s true form in a throwaway panel?

I believe Imu is not in silhouette but that the black form is not his original appearance.
He had an original, normal human body once and whatever overtook him (DF awakening or something else, maybe Evil itself?) made his original features unrecognizable, just like it made his original personality unrecognizable.
