The son of world's strongest man kaidou sounds like vice captain material for pirate king luffy. way more then random weak ass swordman from weakest ass sea, north blue whatever trash, the fish from Finding Nemo movie, regular trash here and there.

the only people that were the strongest in the world: whitebeard, roger, kaidou, future luffy. And yamato has the genes of world's strongest and mythical zoan most rare fruit on top that also increases strength.

Yamato has unique position now, i admit. She should be Luffy's Oden, but she is WSC's daughter and unofficial disciple so she's more than Luffy's Oden. Also her DF is also even more special than Oden's position. Powerlevel-wise, if she joins the crew i believe she is the very next strongest after Luffy, but position in crew? She will try not to disrupt the hierarchy imo, the First Mate is Zoro and is always will be. Her powerlevel progression will be flatter than that of Zoro i guess, as she has no PL-oriented final purpose as of now. She doesn't wanna be WSM or WSW (world strongest woman) or WSC as an ultimate dream, so for now i believe Zoro will be stronger than her at EoS. But yea currently Yamato is unique as a will-be powerhouse in the crew.
