I had one when I was in my teen years. This was 3 months after i got my drivers license. Several cars and me were driving behind this huge truck carrying Styrofoam panels. Wind was blowing pretty hard when suddenly if lifted like 4 of those in air and dropped on us behind the truck. One of those panels fell 2 meters left of my car, second fell on the car behind me and third went of the road. Didn't see 4th.

We all panicked when we saw then fly up and when it dropped chaos ensued. Car behind me crashed into a dich, car in front of me and me gave gas to avoid stuff. That one panel could have very well fall on my car and prolly end me there

In my case, it's me when on the way back to hometown from next city. This happened when I was still a college student around 2018 iirc. I went to hometown using motorcycle. The hometown and next city is connected by mountain road so it has a lot of ascending and descending slope road.
Usually I am always fresh if I'm driving but at that time I felt so sleepy that I was even driving while being sleepy. So while being on descending slope, I was still driving being sleepy, and from the opposite direction there's a bigass truck which went ascending. Because I was sleepy, I drove the motorcycle terribly and the direction my motorcycle went towards the truck (I was out of track). Fortunately the truck's driver honked the horn and it woke me up and I immediately tried to go back on the proper track. After that I went as quick as possible because it's quite shameful to me lol.
Had the truck not honked its horn, I would've possibly got in vehicle accident and could've been dead.

I already posted mine in the most dangerous situation thread.
I think it was somewhere in 2013 back in Vietnam, me and my dad were driving on a motorbike on the country side. We were drove at slow speed at the moment and then we pass by a bunch of water buffalo on the street and then suddenly one of them start charging at us. I looked back and screamed to my dad that the buffalo is chasing after us. And then my dad start freaking out and speed up but the buffalo still keep charging at us for no reason. The buffalo was like 5 meters behind us:crazwhat:And then fortunately, the buffalo started to slow down and walk away to the grass field. Here's how me and my dad looks like after that encounter
So yeah, if the buffalo wasn't slowing down, I would have been Ace 2.0 because of the huge ass sharp horns.:sighting:

When i was 6, my 1 year old little brother was in hospital cause of some ear problems and my mother was with him there. My father, highly weakened through cancer, was with me and our Dog at home. He fell asleep (chemo hit hard, you can imagine) and while i played with our dog (50kg, Rottweiler, called "Krümel"), we unluckily crashed and his incisor stucked into my face. He panicked and pulled it out, while cutting of a big part of my cheek. So i had an open wound, from under my nose, half round to under my mouth, still have the big scar. I fell unconcious instantly, but my dog realized and immediatly went to wake up my dad. He insisted to pull him to me. My father told me after he never have seen our dog so persistend.

However, i still have the scar, this accident was no bite (oftenly had the discussion, but even the doctors said, if this dog had anything done close to bite, nothing of my face would have been left) and from that day, my dog defended me even more. But it could have gone even worse. These accidents sadly happen, even if the child and the dog dont have any intend to hurt each other. Still would raise children always with dogs, just with being careful.

went to the woods at arround 12 y.o. and started climbing arround in an old quarry. approximately 20m high with big stones and boulders at the bottom. reached the top and wanted to crawl up a small incline to where the ground gets level again. the incline was normal loose woods soil.
ground started moving under my feet and I slid towards the edge.
not sure why, maybe it was instincts, but I dug my hands into the ground as hard as I could. somehow managed to grab a root and stop myself from falling 20m down to my near certain death.
there was no trees close by. I have no idea what a root was even doing there, yet it saved my life.

thanks trees.
