With Luffy - Shanks
  • Oda already made Shanks clash top tiers evenly before Luffy does.
  • Make YCs shiver in his presence
  • Split the sky , something Luffy does years and 500 chapters later.
  • Even after Luffy beat Kaido, Shanks gets top tier feat and hype against GB (admiral)
  • Luffy only had better hype and feat now
With Zoro - Mihawk
  • Mihawk has lesser feats than non peak, high tier Zoro!
  • Zoro was already doing Mihawk best feat (cutting a huge object in half) back un DR ...People had him as wss candidate already
  • Enou Zoro has beaten a YC low diff when Mihawk with Yoru will struggle mid diff to beat Jozu/Vista
  • Mihawk grouped with Croco and other warlords many times as equal
  • Mihawk becomes a subordinate of a clown gag yonko while current Zoro is under Peak Luffy that awoke his fruit.
Shanks hasn't gone all out and still feels relevant to peak Luffy power wise.
Mihawk doesn't feel like that , his presence and feats are already below non prime Zoro by far now

Luffy needed to be top tier to surpass or match Shanks feats while Zoro already matched Mihawk feats pre enma and now surpassed that.

Which tells you once again that Oda poorly wrote WSS and the dream.
Oda views Mihawk as a lesser pirate (which he is coz he's not Great Pirate) than even Buggy! He has him below Admirals and Yonko in power , that's why Mihawk looks high tier below Zoro when you see his presence and feats at MF (pluz the fact he fought a non prime Shanks who was below fs luffy)

U didn't know that Zoro already surpassed Mihawk during TS and is the Current WSS?

Brook also went and met Laboon during his Superstar time

Dragon spoiled entire Void Century to Robin during TS

Nami already drew World Map when she was traveling on that moving Sky Island

Maybe even Luffy was given One Piece by Rayleigh
... etc

Post-TS is reverse of Pre-TS, instead of chasing their Dreams, they are now trying to find new purpose after already fulfilling them

Can't wait to see Zoro vs Vista, Luffy finds Two Piece, Laboon's turn to find Brook now and Usopp trying to become Most Useless Warrior ... etc

Even after defeating Kaido's RHM, Zoro's goal remained to become the strongest swordsman by beating Mihawk. So Zoro is stronger than YC1s but still weaker than his master. Even a monkey would be able to understand this.

Its badly written

Oda doesn't hype mihawk
His presence keeps being thrown under admirals and yonko by far
Zoro has no rivals for WSS title
He has mentioned or thought of his dream in wano after years since DR or TS

BB's situation is even worse. He is one of the final if not the main final villain and he has been portrayed much worse, from running away with his whole crew just by seeing akainu alone, to screaming like a pig with a g2 hakiless punch, or ganging on deathbeard with his whole crew. Mihawk's only "bad" portrayal is sparring with Vista and thats it, he wasnt even serious and has been said countless times by many people in this forum that if Shanks was stronger than him he would admit it and the VC wouldnt say that he's waiting for someone to surpass Shanks and fight with him.

The story is at a point where these characters needs actual feats to validate their portrayal.

Oda can't just force their superiority over Luffy with words anymore.

Apparently we need to cling to nonsense words only coz feats sucks so bad to prove x is top tier
