The title says it all, I got some proofs about this topic that some devil fruits gives more than what theyre name is and this is some of the example and probably the admirals, blackbeard and some other devil fruit users out there probably has this and this extra ability is insane to think about. And probably the only way to improve this hidden ability is through experiences just like haki
This is probably hard to understand what im about to say but just remember the title of this thread!
1. Eneru - He was able to locate and count the whole people that invading the higher ground during the sky piea arc he said that he could sense about the vibration of the ground this is similar to some high end observation haki.
probably there’s more that his df gave to him like using his devil fruit to improve his reflexes of the incoming attacks by fusing his df ability and his haki and probably the only one who could do this! Imagine how strong he is now after the 2 years time skip..
2 Chopper - there’s only 3 forms that zoan devil fruit can give, emperor Kaido has only 2! but chopper is different through his experience on making medicine he was able to make his forms into 7!
He was a reindeer in the beginning but after eating his df he was able to become a literally human, he could talk, eat, read like human and he could also talk to animals and the crazy fact is that he used to be a reindeer its like literally the df he ate gave him a huge boost..
id say that Choper is one of the most dangerous df out there that if it got to the wrong hands became a artificial df its over because think about how this df made chopper the greatest doctor of all time when in fact he was a reindeer before.
3. Brooke - his df gave him the power to bring back to life, but not only that he was able to come back to his body that became a skeleton its like his df has a never ending possibilities we dont know yet how he was able to survive, did brooke needs to eat to survive? how he was able to get near the water and walk through it without getting weakened,
if Brooke wasnt able to find his body would be able to possesed other bodies who died?
4. Luffy - When he ate the rubber df he turned himself to a rubber, but there’s more to it, his bones also turned into a rubber he could stretch it, he could turn it big, make another arm just like on his gear fourth when he fought doflamingo, and one more is that since his bone is made of rubber it means that any types of attack cant break his bones but only way to destroy it is that if you cut it and unless your nami of course.
5. Logia df powers, Ace, Aokiji, Akainu is one of these examples. When Ace visited the drum island which is the land of snow he was able to turn it into a hot weather, Aokiji and Akainu did the same to the punk hazard but there df was so extreme that they literally turn the island permanently into magma and ice. Lets go back to Ace again what if when they went to alabasta kingdom Ace turned the whole island hotter than before? And when he left things went back to normal? thats why when Ace was arround the weather was so extreme for the strawhats?
6. Zoan df users, They are animals they have sensed we dont know but one of these examples is the bat zoan df that zoro face in wano, he was able to hear 6 times better than human, Lucci’s df was made him had a good feet thats why when luffy broke his legs he was able to give lucci his last attack! and who knows if all of zoan has other abilities too
What if Blackbeard and the others has this called “passive” abilities? Some that we dont know yet, maybe Kaido has one but we missed it like what if Kaido’s df made his body into literrally unbreakable that the only way to defeat him is that if youre great warrior with great haki, who knows right? who knows if his Oni’s blood wasnt the real reason why his body is so rought, because Yamato seems to not have those qualities like his father… Maybe Kizaru has one, Blackbeard from both two df that he ate, GreenBull, Crocodile, are just some few examples, what do you guys think?
