After the Oden Flashback Nekomamushi and Inuarashi’s actions during the Zou arc don’t make sense. Considering how the Minks value loyalty willing to die than give up a friend, the fact that the Mink Rulers seemingly abandoned Wano even after spending over a decade there but even more so as two of Oden’s retainers seems incredibly out of character. But even more so their seemingly lack of knowledge about what transpired is shocking.
Given Wano’s seclusion from the outside world if they had left Wano before Kaido took over or Oden’s death they might not have known about it, but as we saw they were there through everything.
In Zou we learned that when Nekomamushi and Inuarashi returned to Zou they were fighting, but neither knew why. Are they going to get selective Amnesia? Maybe forgetting the most traumatic events? Because they still need to remember sailing with Whitebeard and Roger.
