Its kind of speculative question but why did Rocks even go their ? We know everyone on the crew wanted get rich quick scheme .

I am certain Whitebeard only joined the crew because his country was in poverty and rocks offered him chance to fulfill the desire .

I do feel rocks intention was something else he knows God valley held something every important related to celestial dragons and possibly related to void century .

Sengoku said the island was disappeared off the map , it was not destroyed . So there is high chance blackbeard / luffy will get to the sland and find very important stuff rocks was looking for .

It might be something related to the void century since it for erased from the history and the WG did that only with the void century for what we know so maybe it's a place where u can find ifos about the poneglyps or something like that cuz we know BM knee about them and she was actually looking for Raftel but Roger managed to do it first

That would be an interesting turn, especially since we’ve only heard a single mention of the Emerald City way back in Jaya. Knowing the little we know about God Valley and its connection to Rocks, the Celestial Dragons, and the Marines, it’s possibly those two islands share the same spot in the OP world’s mythology.
