Both Silver Axe and Drake have X shaped scars on their chin, both also have X shaped tattoo’s on their chest.
If Drake is the grandson of Silver Axe, this could imply that Silver Axe is in fact and under cover Marine just like Drake was. Silver Axe’s Yakuza theme fits in perfectly with the Admirals as well.
I think the notion of an undercover Admiral would just be weird, but the idea isn’t completely impossible. Xebec committed the greatest sin when he killed an Admiral, it is very possible that the Navy could have sent Silver Axe to infiltrate Rocks’s crew in response to this.
This might answer the question of why Kong seemingly couldn’t send anyone but Garp to God Valley if he already had an Admiral infiltrating Rocks’s crew.
You guys remember how Oda baited the dumbest humans alive into thinking that Sabo actually fought two Admirals at Reverie? Then we found out that Sabo did fuck all and the two Admirals instead simply fought each other and the entire legend of the Flame Emperor is fake?
Just imagine if Oda is once again baiting the dumbest humans on earth into thinking Garp and Roger could actually beat the likes of Webec, and we instead find out that Garp and Roger were losing but Silver Axe’s betrayal directly causes Rocks’s defeat
We already know Oda is willing to completely humiliate Roger by having him neg diffed by Shakky, why not have he and Garp’s legend at God Valley be as fraudulent as the Flame Emperor’s as well?
