Speculations Does Shanks think Mihawk is grown up?

#1

So, this is a question of if Shanks respects Mihawk as a person.

Does Shanks know that Mihawk had experienced both victory and defeat on his journey?

OR

Does Shanks think Mihawk is someone who had never grown up because he never suffered defeat?

We do know that Mihawk suffered a betrayal in his past.

I want to note that Mihawk may not have been beaten in a fair fight or even against another swordsman. He might've got overpowered by a group of people with devil fruit powers that made it impossible for him to win or something.

This is in-line with the thinking that you can't survive in the New World without being under one of the emperors or by being in direct competition with them.

Can he be a top swordsman while being defeated by people other than swordsmen? Yes. That title is only relative to swordsmen. It wouldn't matter if he was defeated by another type of fighter.

Anyway, this is just something to chew on. I hope you don't choke on it.

I don't like Mihawk fans, not because Mihawk is a bad character, but because Mihawk fans are usually just here to be hypercritical and aura farm. They represent an undesirable part of the fandom, and in-fact they display anti-fan behavior frequently.

Am I demonizing them? No, they demonized themselves. They wanted the attention, it's just negative attention.
"I don't like mihawk fans, they want attention and display anti-fan behavior. Now, let me create a thread to bash on mihawk" 🗿

I don't its him getting defeated, its most likely he lost someone dearly in the past, making him had a grudge towards marines cuz its because of them and start Marine Hunting. It wouldn't make sense if he got defeated and then got the title of Marine hunter after that, its more interesting that way since we see Zoro talking to S-Hawk that he is more humane than Mihawk. And tbh OG Warlord had a bunch of people holding grudge towards anyone and its been a theme on them.

1. Crocodile - Holding Grudge against WB in general cuz he got defeated, and then seek power in Pluton. After getting defeated by Luffy he then seek Utopia.

2. Moria - Holding a Grudge against Kaido because he got annihilated, got him even change his ideals. And even more overprotective towards his crew. Him alone attacking Hachinosu while Teach is there is amazing imo

3. Doflamingo - Holding a grudge against Celestial Dragon or World in general since they banished them because of his father choice and led that to him getting traumatic childhood experiences

4. Jinbe - Not exactly a grudge but hatred towards WG cuz when he wants coexistence, they reject him.

5. Boa Hancock - holding a grudge towards WG and World Nobles because of the enslavement, even willingly become a shichibukai just to make Kuja Islands safe.

6. Kuma - Holding a grudge against WG and World Nobles because of the suffering and Oppression that he and his loved ones get. But Deeply believes in Nika which makes him Saint that makes him and not lose control.

I think a lot of you have problems.
- It's a nuance. Shanks thinks people who haven't dealt with victory and defeat haven't grown up, so he must not think much of Mihawk given that you all believe he is undefeatable in any way.

It is true, though, I do not like Mihawk fans. Mihawk is fine, I like him. Not you guys, though.

The biggest anti-fan group in the story, and they get sensitive any time someone says something about the guy. Hypercritical people can dish it, but they can't take it.
