Does the 20 year gap for Raku/Haku change perception on the FDs?

I know Han are currently winning and looking incredibly strong, but they will lose and it seems their inactivity is being shaped as a potential reason for that.

If we take that at face value, does or will it change your perception on the 3 FDs? They had 14 years away, and in fact they were locked in prison cells whilst Haku and Raku were at least in constant training. This does also add credibility to Gohoumei suggesting that Reiou had grown ‘stale’.

It seem like the Fire Dragons reached their peak before being imprisoned (or were close to it), while Han duo never got the chance to operate on a large scale to begin with thus their growth was halted.

The purpose of Reiou statement was that Gouhomei stands tier above him in terms of talent, not that Reiou somehow lost his chance to reach his full potencial.

Yeah, we know he didn't have any growth during his time in jail, but it's not specified what was the reason for it.
Ghm said Reiou had stagnated these past 14 years - the same time frame that he was in prison. Seems obvious that they are connected, right? It’s not like Reiou was some OAP either.

It's reasonable to assume Rei Ou stagnated the way water stagnates when it has nowhere to flow. I don't believe there is sufficient reason to assume condition was permanent. Granted, he had the superior numbers and terrain advantage, but Rei Ou acquitted himself well against Tou.

Even if GHM meant Rei Ou would never improve even after working the rust off, he wouldn't be a reliable judge given the fact he was justiying his betrayal of Rei Ou, and he made plenty of misjudgments before, including the most pivotal one of the campaign.

Nothing in the spoiler box for me?
