Powers & Abilities Does this new potential Zoro feat prove that you can apply haki on not touchable attacks/objects too?

Can you apply haki on untouchable attacks/objects like gravity for example?

I just thought about it and i can't really find an answer for myself.

First of this hiryu kaen ability zoro is doing against Kaido in ch. 1002 seems different than the one he used pre timeskip against Ryuma...
Against Ryuma while he was midair he launched towards Ryuma and his blade made actual contact with him and set him on fire and it did not seem to be a flying slash.
Against Kaido however Zoro while being midair seems to not have moved from his position at all and just seems to have launched a normal flying slash which cut off the horn in the background which makes me think that Zoro would've apparently injured Kaido by applying advanced haki on a flying slash.

Though maybe the flying slash was just a side effect of the Hiryu Kaen ability missing and Zoro would've made direct contact with Kaido had he not missed?

So far i always was of the assumption that Fujitora couldn't apply haki on his gravity powers for example since Sabo was just able to fly through it with his logia ability and since it is not something you can touch like swords, guns/bullets, arrows, body parts or even certain ranged devil fruit powers like Doffy's strings which so far iirc were the only things we saw being covered in haki.

But this new chapter might be proof that for example Kizaru can apply haki on his light beams and Fujitora on his gravity despite it not being something you can touch.

Maybe i'm missing something though and somebody can clear that up for me.

Zoro could cut Monet with a flying slash:

So haki can be imbued in air slashes (or Zoro releases his Ryuo itself to perform the cut).
