Speculations Doflamingo Becomes a Good Guy?

#1
Hi Worstgen,

Would you be mad if Doflamingo became a good guy and became less edgy and perhaps more goofy?
- Luffy crushed his previous dream of waging war with Kaido.
- It is possible that Doflamingo's dream has changed because of his encounter with Luffy.
- Doflamingo may lend aid to Luffy in the future.

Any thoughts?

Doflamingo dream was never waging war with Kaido. Doflamingo wanted to be "immortal" by ope ope surgery. He knows about Marie Geoise secret treasure, this suggest that he might know about Imu Sama. We still dont know what is his true dream.

His true dream involved being a Celestial Dragon, again. But, he got rejected and he decided to wage war with Kaido instead.

Then, he got defeated by Luffy and imprisoned and Kaido got taken down.

It seems pretty clear-cut to me.

Note: He found the secret of Mary Geoise by accident.

He was never a good guy, even as a kid. In fact, I’d say he became irredeemable after his mother died, since not too long after he ended up killing his own father.

He wants power and a comfortable living, and that’s what Celestials have. He blamed his father for throwing away that lifestyle.

With that in mind, any sudden change would break his character.

Cosmic Law doesn't care about earthly things as much as you guys do. He was following some kind of righteous path to end up awakened.

This is a reading comprehension thing. The story must be very confusing for you all.

I mentioned he is a complex character and he doesn't have to be a good guy to follow Cosmic Laws. Blackbeard isn't a good guy, but I also suspect he benefits from this too.

Agreed that it's possible he may break his character or what is perceived as his character if he were to behave in a goofy manner. That's kind of the point, though.

I know that, but the question is what he would do after the celestial dragon fall? He was planing to be "immortal". What was his ultimate goal? Be king of the world?

I think he was one of the guys who wanted to see the world burn. Basically, I think that's what happens to people when they lose their dream. So, that's what he ended up doing.

But it's all subjective. What we do know is that he initially wanted to become a Celestial Dragon, again, and when he was rejected he decided to join Kaido in an effort to create a world war.

At that point, idk... He was basically planning to have everyone killed or become part of Kaido's subjects in his territories. Maybe he thought at some point he would try to fight Kaido? But really, I don't think his plans amounted to much after he failed to become a Celestial Dragon.

Maybe
I can see him being somewhat relevant after luffy becomes pirate king and takes on the world government. Doflamingo, Hancock, and Kuma teaming up with the revolutionaries would be dope

Plus tsuru exist. I don’t think it’s to far fetched to believe she’s been trying to rehabilitate Doflamingo

The fact that his plan always involved the ope ope no mi means his ambition is much bigger than be Kaido subordinate or take revenge against the celestial dragons

He can't because oda made him someone who was born evil to sell him unlike crocodile who is more goal oriented

Please no.

He can be a "good guy" in the sense he joins Cross Guild just to fuck over the marines and Tenrubito who he want to bring down more than anyone else. An ally of convinience.

But he should still maintain enmity over Law and Luffy.
If he ever gets chummy with those guys, I'm done with him, won't be a fan anymore.

Nope, his dream is to crush everything the Celestial Dragons control and to be the king of the world.

I hope doflamingo stays evil to the end, there are enough reformed villains.

Gorosei said to cobra that as soon as you see imu, you are to be killed so either its not that or doflamingo found a way to know about them without getting killed.

Last we saw doflamingo, he was talking to magellan about the "higher ups" sending someone to kill him so i could be up to something.
