Versus Battle Dosu vs Kankuro

This is their part 1 selves during the second part of the Chuunin Exams after the 3 months of training so they have knowledge of their skills and time to prepare a strategy. Just imagine that Gaara didn’t kill Dosu before then.

Dosu was a strong mid ranged fighter who’s attacked had to be dodged in most instances. Contrary to that, Kankuro was a not very agile opponent who used his puppets to deceive his enemies and fight from a safe range in ideal circumstances.


The way I see it happening is that Dosu immediately pressures Kankuro—who has to use his own puppets to absorb the sonic attacks as he himself lacks the speed feats to do so. But if he can get out at least 2/3 of his puppets at the same time, I think Kankuro wins. He’ll overwhelm Dosu, needing only 1 hit to poison Dosu and sink the W.

So I think Kankuro wins 7/10 times.
