General & Others Dragon has never fought or even attacked a Celestial Dragon

According to Kuma, no one has ever hit a celestial dragon in hundreds of years till Luffy.

celestial dragons includes the random riff raff, THE HOLY KNIGHTS and the Gorosei.

dragon has never fought a Holy knight, he didn’t even know the Gorosei could fight, and he has never attacked a single random Celestial dragon going around murdering and enslaving people.

Is this your Rev? He has no blood of a celestial dragon on his hands even after decades of fighting the WG?

Btw: Kuma’s words apply to God Valley as well… it applies to the Garling, Saturn, Garp, the rocks pirates and the Roger pirates and the entire God Valley Incident… Somehow someway, no Celestial dragon was harmed, including the Holy Knights

Dragon was a sailor, at most he has an admiral level.....Dragon is a medium level and is useless.

Dragon will be what the plot demanded, he sucked big time in (no) dealing with the Kuma problem yet he eventually will do something big (at least I hope otherwise I don't get Oda at all XD).

About the statement about no CD being hurt in hundreds of years... It has to be bullshit, Garling and the other holy knights in God Valley didn't take a single hit? I want to see Oda draw that. Also the usual Luffy Jesus thing (first one to hit a CD since forever) is as usual really bad.

The problem here is that Oda's plan for One Piece was copying the plot of Esteban, Child of the Sun and that story ended with a plot reveal about ancient civilization but there was no revolutionary army in that story. To make the revolutionary army work, Oda would need to describe why the army formed and what their operations are and how that is changing the world and he isn't that type of writer. Look at how poorly SMILE were written and integrated into the main story. As One Piece starts to conclude, you'll notice more plot holes and inconsistencies because Oda did vague foreshadowing but he didn't plan everything out.

I personally don't think a revolutionary army plotline can even work with the Nika Nika plotline because these are 2 completely different paths to overthrow the World Government.

God Valley incident was hidden from history and the island itself vanished. Besides, the Gorosei got scars somehow which implies they did get hit before.

As for Dragon, its part of Oda's policy to make a character passive until they get their share of screentime. It makes Dragon suck a bit more, but that one is more on Oda.

It seems Sengoku wasn’t lying or exaggerating at all

Sengoku said Roger and Garp protected the Celestial dragons and their slaves from the Rocks crew… A lot of us fans seemed to not believe him and just added an asterisk in his words that Toger and Garp were protecting slaves and somehow by accident ended up helping the Celestial dragons as well

this is seemingly more unlikely given that supposedly NO celestial dragon was even hurt… Including the Holy Knights… So it seems Sengoku was just plainly correct, Garp and Roger legit protected the Celestial dragons WHOLESALE

@Apollo
Well yeah the Gorosei have scars, but Kuma’s statement is that no Celestial dragon has been hurt in HUNDREDS OF YEARS… The conclusion here is that the Gorosei only got their scars, HUNDREDS OF YEARS ago

Also, Kuma was at god valley… He saw things… He didn’t see everything yes, but we know that Ivankov can tell that Garp wasn’t the hero of God valley… That means before escaping God valley Kuma and ivankov saw enough of the battle to know that Garp being the hero is a lie

That means they saw actual battles before everything was said and done and this mixed with Sengoku saying that Garp and Roger protected Celestial dragons seems to indicate that Kuma has some reasonable knowledge on the situation

That is impossible since it contradicts basic shounen rules, unless Oda is cooking something strange (and the chances are basically none)(this at least is how I see it).

The holy knights are fighters who are getting quite a bit of hype, Garling more so. They supposedly are Im real army, maybe only inferior to the gorosei. How do they become so strong? Do they have zero experience of real fights with humans fighting back? If the answer is yes then they are a joke. But, looking specifically at God Valley, did these fighters just stand there without doing nothing only to have Garp and Roger protect them? Their hype would nosedive even worse than Dragon's.

Imo Oda meant Roger and Garp somewhat and for some reason helped in protecting the "common" celestial dragons (Carlos style of CD) while the holy knights actually fought and get at least a bit of hype like it happens in a shounen. They, Garling at the very least, must have had some sort of a fight with Xebec and crew one way or another otherwise Oda is not hyping them but throwing them under a train (impossible) or Oda is cooking some weird plot (very very slim chances)(he will never change OP usual recipe since it sells like hot cakes).

Kuma and Ginny said they had no clue what happened in God Valley and who came after they escaped so he wouldn’t know who the God Knights were. It has been heavily speculated that Big Mom fought Saturn and Whitebeard fought Saint Garling which means there were others who fought as well.

Also, judging from Ivankov and Kuma’s reaction to finding out Luffy is the son and how reserved Dragon is, no one in the Revolutionary seems to fully know his past. The WG hid it from the public.
