Honestly had high hopes for Drake initially, even more so with the SWORD reveal. But as Wano progressed he seemed more and more lost, like he’d just wandered in from somewhere and had no idea what he was doing.

Wano feels like a botched abortion in that there are/were so many plot points hanging, but the conclusion was so haphazardly rushed that moments that should have been carthatic (eg Hiyori and Orochi) were slapped on the panel for 0.2 seconds to fill space and nothing else. There’s no emotion, no sigh of relief because there never were any stakes. It’s just a bloody mess.

I don't think Drake's dead considering his role with SWORD (or maybe I'm just coping) but that panel with Hawkins collapsing does make me think he just died on the spot there

Drake is alive, I'm sure about it. I'm not sure about Hawkins, he might be out, I don't see any role for him to play in the future. But nonetheless he might still be alive...
