Elbaf has already played heavily into Norse mythology, the depiction of the character Loki, Hajrudin Spear of Gungnir attack, the strong Viking and Scandinavian themes, Shanks and Tyr etc.
The concept of a legendary Hammer in Elbaf that is based on the idea of Mjornir in Norse Mythos is something many have speculated on. And this hammer being something Usopp will eventually get in the arc. Usopp seeking to become a brave warrior of the sea, and Elbaf being the island of brave warriors he seeks.
We see Loki depicted with a large hammer, one that is tied behind his back while chained. The reason i believe this hammer has been left on him is not intentional, but because no one else in Elbaf has the physical strength to lift the hammer, Loki is the only one capable of this. I specifically think this will be a call back to Dressrosa, where Hajrudin nearly died under the weight of 10,000 tonnes from Machvise. And Usopp who wields a fake 10,000 tonne hammer in many arcs.
Loki will wield a real 10,000 tonne hammer. And will wield it effortlessly, this will reflect the overwhelming difference in strength between him and Hajrudin. And Zoro will witness and learn this from Loki about his hammer. Zoro specifically will be able to compare this to Hajrudin who he saw lift 10,000 tonnes and nearly die in the act while Loki effortlessly handles it as his weapon. Usopp also regularly wields a hammer throughout the story it makes alot of sense he would finally get a special one.
We know the 3 realms of Elbaf, the Underworld, the sun world, and the heaven world at the top. So far we have gotten no info on the heaven realm. And it seems that majority if not all Giants live in the Sun realm. And given the fact Loki has been consistently portrayed as the only truly exceptional Giant, i don't think theres some special giant guarding the heaven realm.
I believe this realm is a sacred ground for giants, one that only legendary individuals granted access by the King or Head Elder in this case Jarul are allowed to grant access to. And this is where i think the Mjornir Hammer is. We obviously know heaven has connotations tied to God, angels, holy. And in Norse mythos the god of thunder is Thor and his hammer is Mjornir, it makes sense that the Hammer is in the heaven realm.
Thor is known as both the god of thunder and storms in norse mythos. And in one piece the concept of storm is tied to the D. The D. will bring another storm again, Law and Corazon said this. So the idea of an individual who is a god over storm and create and control storms at whim is the core essence of the D clan. So just as Loki in norse mythos has his depiction in the One piece Loki, i believe Thor will have his depiction in the story.
Thor was said to be able to regularly fight the Jotun(Giants) as an enemy, and his hammer could ONE SHOT Giants, given that luffy in dressrosa could perform this feat on one of the stronger giants hajrudin, taking down any giant in one hit isn't impressive. It has to be a hammer that can ONE HIT KO the only giant who is really worth note being LOKI.
Given Lokis crazy portrayal in the arc of Elbaf, he killed the Giant King in an intense battle, only red hair shanks was able to defeat him. And it led to shanks becoming a Yonko. A bounty of 2.6 billion.
I believe this Hammer in Elbaf is the strongest weapon in the world. Elbaf is the strongest country in the world, with the strongest military force. These theme of the strongest would stay consistent in that regard. It's also known as warland the birthplace of war in Op world. it is very likely the most insane war ever in the story in terms of scale, avg power of characters and stakes is gonna occur on Elbaf.
In almost every fundamental aspect of this war, i believe it will be of a higher tier than Wano.

It is a hammer that has the capacity to CREATE AND DESTROY the strongest class of blade in the world. The only arms in the world that can do this.
This weapon will also be one that puts tremendous fear into Enma and Zeus, 2 of some of the strongest weapons in the world will be terrified. And the lightning that flows from Mjornir will be such that Zeus who loves eating lightning will be scared sh*tless.
