Chapter Discussion Elbaf lives in fake peace and King Harold was actually Evil

#1
After rereading yesterday’s chapter and revisiting Big Mom’s flashback, I’m starting to believe that the peace created by King Harold was fabricated. If you carefully analyze Big Mom’s flashback, you’ll notice that Mother Caramel and other CP0 members were secretly running a human trafficking operation under the guise of an orphanage.

King Harold , on the other hand, seemingly had no issue with Giants joining the Marines, which implies that under his rule, he maintained good relations with the World Government. This was also the time when Loki was born, during Big Mom's stay in the orphanage.

The big question now is: why is the World Government suddenly interested in Loki after ignoring him for so many years? Not only that, but he now has a special bounty on his head. I’d argue there are several reasons for this.

The World Government is severely lacking in strong forces beyond the Admirals. Previously, they had the Warlord system, but that has since been abolished. It’s clear they’re in desperate need of new allies. Loki might be offered freedom in exchange for his allegiance, and he could be pitted against Luffy for the title of the Sun God.

This scenario ties in thematically with how the arc began—with a "fake" Sun God versus the real one. Oda has already hinted at this conflict. It’s highly plausible that Loki and Luffy will face off for the title of the true Nika, and the resulting battle could lead to the destruction of Elbaf.

The ultimate goal here isn’t to rescue Loki, but to provoke a war between him and Luffy. The Holy Knights are likely working to ensure Elbaf remains under King Harold’s false peace, and to prevent Elbaf from allying with Luffy. This conflict seems designed to further divide potential alliances and maintain control over Elbaf’s role in the broader story.

In mythology Loki was an orphan so Harold might not be his real father, also in Bigmoms time we know mother caramel was selling orphans to marines so Harold might be in the business too. When Loki noticed Harold was working with marines and wanted to sell him to them shit hit the fan and there was carnage.

Could be . The way it shows Harold was nice king maybe he was just another world govt puppet .

Look at current state of Elbaf the younger generation hate fighting this is only because of continued Harold’s policy .

Totally possible 🧐
Elbaf’s giants have always been portrayed as proud and honorable, but their history includes moments of conflict and war (Brogy and Dorry’s fight, Big Mom’s betrayal of the giants). If Elbaf lives in “fake peace,” it might stem from Harold suppressing dissent or rewriting history.

Loki wants to bring honour of Elbaf back . He probably has other motives but in the end can’t deny his father weakened Elbaf warriors to the extent the next generation don’t like to wage fight .
