Speculations Elbaf will be the Ancient Kingdom arc

What we know:
1. Giants live hundreds of years, so from their perspective the Void Century was only a few generations ago​
2. Elbaf is not a member of the World Government, so just like with Wano and Skypiea the WG never had a chance to 100% erase its history​
3. The main theme of Elbaf will likely be truth/lies (The name is literally "Fable" backwards, Loki was the Norse god of tricksters, a major theme with Usopp's character is lies, etc.) which fits VERY nicely into Imu erasing the Void Century​
4. The ancient robot at the end of chapter 1065 looks like a viking, which heavily implies that Elbaf has a connection to the Ancient Kingdom​


To me, this suggests that the Elbaf arc is probably where we're going to get most of the lore surrounding the Ancient Kingdom

- Introducing science related stuff that'll be important later
- Finding out how Devil Fruits actually work
- Resolving the Bonney/Kuma plotline
- Revolutionary stuff
- Probably some stuff with Sword and Smoker/Tashigi
Definitely won't have Vegapunk giving them a long lecture about what happened in the Void Century. Rayleigh offered to tell Robin what happened and she turned him down. It would go against her character if she didn't discover the truth for herself

  1. Science related stuff has been going on since Punk Hazard which amounted to absolutely nothing. Whether it was Giantification, SMILES, Vinesmokes, underground weapons, etc.

  3. We don't need Egghead for that plotline. No one even knew Egghead before Oda created out his ass last second. That plotline could have been resolved with Revo plotline.
  4. Again we don't need Egghead for that.
  5. So what is the point of Vegapunk if there is no lore reveal? Just so we can have this boring megaman Robot plotline? also, this contradicts point 2 because how are we suppose to know how devil fruits come from without discussing void century.

1. All the science stuff was set up FOR Egghead. All that talk about cloning and the lineage factor was setting up how Vegapunk would use that technology to create the Seraphim and likely a lot of other stuff
2. Probably. Oda said in an SBS a while back that a scholar who knew a lot about Devil Fruits would be coming into the story soon
3. Bonney and Kuma both tie directly into Vegapunk
4. I mean, yeah? Just cause we don't need it doesn't mean it shouldn't be included
5. Vegapunk is one of the most important characters in the entire setting. Arguably even moreso than Big Mom, Kaido, or any of the Admirals. Anyway my point was that Vegapunk isn't going to give them a big lecture on the Void Century's history, since he likely doesn't know about any of that. He knows about their technology since he studies it, but I don't think he knows anything beyond that. There's a good chance he knows some stuff about Luffy's fruit though

Elbaf will be a minor 20 chapter arc

Any plot points that Elbaf could contain can also just be answered by Vegapunk...there's not enough time left for an entire full fledged arc aside from the final one

Nah dude. Oda's favorite show as a child was a viking cartoon
Elbaf is getting some serious love. It's definitely one of the most important and lore-heavy locations in the entire setting
