I don't know about you guys, but the more we learn about the history of the world, the more certain we become that Enel WILL come back and play a bigger role in the final saga of OP... Oda has also stated OP was only supposed to last around five years, maybe Enel was supposed to be back for the ending from the start..But now the question is..WHEN is he actually coming back??
I've seen a lot of people say he's only showing up in the final war which would make sense because the mural we saw had an ark that resembled Enel's.. But i really can't imagine Oda actually bringing him back ONLY in the final war because it would need a lot of explanation, and if it's the last stretch of the story i doubt Oda would pause the immense hype to make a few backstory chapters about Enel and how he came back.
This leads me to believe Enel WILL come back in Elbaf. Maybe not soon but around the end or half of the arc. Why? Well my answer is the fallen munk UROGE.
I've seen a few theories about his ties to Enel, how they're both from Birka (Though it's not confirmed Uroge is from Birka, it's very likely.) and the fact that he's called "the fallen monk" may hint that he was the powerful warrior sky knight that fell from the sky islands after failing to defend his land from Enel.
Uroge is also the only Supernova (as far as i'm aware) Who hasn't crossed paths or even met Luffy yet. Which is weird considering how much the sky people are tied to the sun god and warrior of liberation..My personal guess is that Uroge will play a role in Elbaf (or shortly after) by making an alliance with the strawhats so they can fight a stronger (maybe awakened?) Enel with his newly found army. Maybe Uroge would have recognized Luffy's resemblance to the sun god in his new bounty poster and somehow became aware of Enel's return so he went seeking for him to help? Maybe they'll have a huge rematch and we'll know more about him? I don't know, but i have a feeling Oda has something planned for Uroge since the dude is still a total mystery.
What do you guys think? Is Enel coming back as an enemy or an ally? Did Oda just forget about Uroge? Am i crazy for caring about an arc in OP that's older than me? I'd love to hear your thoughts on the subject!!
