This is a place for your ideas for devil fruits. Here are a couple ideas I had recently.
Logia: The Sap Sap fruit, it turns you into a tree sap human and not only can you become thick sticky sap but you can also harden your sap into amber which can create structures and weapons. You can also capture people inside of the amber like insects and release them later. I would love it if this was Green Bull's fruit but I doubt it.
Logia: The Steam Steam fruit, basically just Smoker but hotter and actually just as terrible for your lungs.
Zoan: The Turtle Turtle fruit model Softshell, this is an absolutely pathetic fruit because it's a turtle that doesn't even boost defense very much. The main advantage softshell turtles have is their speed in water and as a devil fruit user that's not an option so if you bite into this by mistake thinking it's a different turtle fruit it sucks to be you, buddy. You also need to stay wet if you plan on spending a lot of time in zoan form so you don't dry out. The dachshund fruit is unironically better.
Zoan: The Croc Croc fruit mythical model Ammit, you can turn into Ammit the devourer from Egyptian mythology. Ammit has the head of a crocodile, the front body of a lion, and the back body of a hippo. When Ma'at places the hearts of the dead onto her scale they must be lighter than a feather from her wings or she feeds their heart to Ammit, destroying their soul forever. The Ammit fruit lets you turn into this powerful monster and you become powered up by eating hearts, the more evil the heart the more power you gain but similarly you can be weakened by eating a good heart. For example Doffy's heart would be a massive power boost but Luffy's would be like poison. I think this would be a great fruit for a female Egyptian themed admiral who eats the hearts of pirates.
Zoan: The Snail Snail fruit mythical model Lou Carcolh, you can turn into the Lou Carcolh from French folklore. This is a sort of dragon/serpent/snail hybrid monster that is absolutely massive but rarely leaves its cave. It has hairy tentacles that extend from its face for miles that can catch and drag people back to its cave and right into its mouth. I don't much to say about this one but I was imagining if Cavendish had it and how hilarious that would be. It fits because it's a French legend but it's also a disgusting snail monster which doesn't match Cavendish who is very elegant and known for his speed. Still, it would be very powerful.
