Controversial FCK it, I'm siding with China

Did recent actions of the POTUS change the way you see US on the world stage?

The USA is finished. From self declared leader of the free world to surveillance police and terror state that arbitrarily deports innocent civilians to secret torture prisons, they can no longer fool anyone.
USA are doing the same shit China is repeatedly criticized for.
I've been trying hardcore mental gymnastics for years, thinking ''better keep close the empire you know and whose language you understand (USA) than the empire you don't know and don't understand(China)''.

It took the orange clown and this absolute shitshow that began right as he entered office to open my eyes. NONE of the supposed human rights violations China is infamous for are even exclusive to China.
Now the one main difference between US and CCP land are the fact that China is thousands of years old and Murica less than 500.

Really, I always knew somehow but the decades long de facto colonization of my country by the USA had me living in denial of reality.
I'm done with this bs.

My next phone will be a Huawei.

As I have said before, the only difference between Trump and previous administrations is simply that Trump's open contempt is a twisted form of honesty. Trump is just the US not even bothering with the farcical platitudes to barely respect the wafer thin dignity of its vassal states.

A reminder that Trump wasn't the one to blow up the EU's main cheap energy artery and then sell Europeons LNG at 3x the price.

Is this you beating around the bush? What's your stance on China?

I wouldn't consider it to be so since your opening post and poll is about your and other peoples' perception of the US. I stated that my perception hasn't changed since I have always considered the US an arse hole nation to put it in informal terms.

But to answer your other question regardless...
What's your stance on China?
I don't have any problems with the Chinese.

Compared to the US, they haven't bombed half the planet, they don't attack major infrastructure on the continent I live on while wittering on about some nonexistent "special relationship" and they are far more concerned with infrastructure projects than forcibly regime changing nations that result in bloody power vacuum chaos.

I recall a Yank general bragging about how the American military is so much better than the Chinese military because China "hasn't seen combat since 1979". Apparently even Yanks think the Chinese military is practically inactive.

So comparatively, yes I do much prefer the Chinese to the Yanks. Without the comparison, I would be neutral regarding China.
