The Fishmen Island flashback was the best part of either arc, but overall PH was better.
- Setup the conflict with Doffy, one of the best antagonists in the story.
- Had interesting non-Strawhat interactions (Law, Smoker & Vergo).

A lot of FI was more of the same, but less than average. PH on the other hand provided a different dynamic.

looks like a reddit poll. Fishman Island is Better. Punkhazard was so boring. Zoro fighting a dragon, strawhats being chased by some goo monster. Zoro fighting monet. It all felt like filler.

I personally like the Law/Corazon flashback and Reverie more (before Oda’s failure to deliver on events), but I totally get it.

What’s delusional about the comment?

Lol, PH just defined almost everything from Dressrosa to Wano
Like I said, I still have no idea what the point of PH was. SMILEs? Gigantification? Underground world? Ceaser? What has those subplots lead to? You need 50 chapters to do that? Other mangas literally have sagas end in 50 chapters. Pointless arc. Make your alliance with Law and move on but in typical Oda fashion he needs to add 90% filler.

Punk Hazard and Dressrosa definitely could've been condensed to just 1 arc tbh

fishman island had: pretty mermaids, a unique and funny minor villain in van der decken, goddess shyarly, chad fisher tiger, eye-candy marine setting, robin calling winbe a handsome man, big ship/poneglyph lore

PH had: jobber smoker, whinging 'giant' children, a pedo chicken to please the furries and a body-swap gimmick to compensate for the lack of actual humor (courtesy to the emo wanker law) :whitepress:

FI>>>>>>>PH
