Is there a way to make the follow function mean something?

Like, for example, could the posts of the people we follow be highlighted in some way? So that they stand out

Would that even be possible to do?

Does anyone else have proposals for that function? As it is now it's practically useless

If you sort by "what's new", you can actually view the latest activity of people you are following by clicking on "your news feed".

Though you see posts and likes instead of just posts
