Since I'm not really engaging in debates these past days, I just wanted to drop this thread (@Kishido on Natutoforum made a similar thread)
For 20 years, Oden was sure that if he can't beat that version of Kaido then nobody in his time will take kaido down until the MC of the giant war arrive into NW.
*this man is gonna lose to alliance only because it's destined/prophesied*
*Prime Oden never fought hybrid Kaido even yet still believed Kaido will not be beaten for the next 2o years*
(his 7 losses surely happened before the 20 years)
This goes along with everything oda wrote about Kaido:
-His head being untouched for 20 years in wano
-Him being WSC and 1 v 1 king in OP universe during these 20 years.
* We know for a fact Kaido has been WSC for at least 6/5 years per Ace Novel.
We also know he became emperor before Shanks, probably between 20-6 years ago.*
-Marco the man who lived with WB, was so shocked when Kaido name was brought up as target to defeat as if it's nearly impossible.
-Doffy the man who doesn't fear admirals was shitting in his pants
- Orochi making WG his dogs by using Kaido's name.
-BM despite not seeing him for decades still believes Kaido can't be beaten by the MCs.
- Law stating how kaido is WSC
- Hawkins never backed down from targeting Shanks or fighting Kizaru yet simply bowed down to kaido when he saw the cards % (which tells us they had better chances fighting shanks/kizaru than Kaido.)
- Yonko Teach calls him a monster , only calls BM crazy.
(Same way Capone or doffy called superior fighters monsters.)
- Sengoku and Navy hyping him and bm alliance being greater than anything they've ever seen.
BM, WB & Roger are all better than Kaido in piracy accomplishments and legacy.
yet individually Kaido is the only pirate to be Yonko via strength alone
Even WB became more successful and famous because of Oden. Similar to Roger being PK because of Oden.
*BM and Kaido are counterparts, I've been saying it for 3/4 years now how oda parallels both :
With BM, her empire was unmoved (not shaken, unbeaten ) for 20+ years, while Kaido has been untouched (unbeaten clean or via distraction) for 20 years

But hey...
Let's hear the excuses or arguments where/why Oden meant only wano yet believing outsiders (not mentioning WB despite knowing his power ) will take kaido down, his hope is on Protagonists he never saw.
