Both of them made a Dumb decision for their country.

Oden

1. Left Wano unguarded for years.
2. When he came back, he Started Dancing for the next 5 years. He danced for 5 years so that He could save Wano without Bloodshed.
3. Could have killed Kaidou alongside Rayleigh and Whitebeard Help.

Harald

1. Fucked around most of his life, destroying things.
2. When he ascended to the throne, he started making Dumb decisions. Like listening to WG to join them and kill Xebec. Banning Violence, made the country weak. He banned violence so that WG could accept them.
3. It could have taken down WG if allied with Xebec.

Who played them better?

1. Orochi and Kaidou
   • When Oden confronted Kaido and Orochi, he was ready to fight. But Orochi presented a deal:
     • If Oden danced foolishly in public once a week, stripped of dignity, for 5 years straight…
     • And didn’t resist them during this time…
     • Then after 5 years, Kaido and Orochi would leave Wano.
2. WG
   • When Harald invaded Mariejois, he was strong enough to take on anyone but imu. But got blinded by seeking peace and no Bloodshed and decided to join WG.
     • WG gave him a task to kill Harald.
     • Harald again chose the Oden route to seek peaceful ways.

Whose death was more tragic and Impactful?

1. Oden
   • Agreed to be boiled alive in the hope of saving his scabbards.
   • Wano went into pure chaos for the next 20 years.
2. Harald
   • Killed by his own men, and Loki according to a few.
   • Elbaf's power disappeared from the sea; Giant Pirates were nowhere to be seen.

Who was more important to the story?

1. Oden
   • Without him, Roger couldn't have become Pirate King.
   • The great pirate era would be gone.
2. Harald
   • Without him, Xebec would have already attacked Elbaf and taken the fruit by force.
   • Could have possibly even become the king of the world.
